For those with daughters who play - where do you get your cleats? I'm incredibly disappointed in the selection of local soccer and sporting goods stores for women's cleats - the availablilty is very limited and you'd think with all the girls' teams in the area, we'd have more of a selection. My kid as a small foot - too big for youth but she cannot wear the smallest mens size yet and even if she could, no one would stock the darn things.
I've had horrific experience ordering online - we need to have her try on and even just to get something sized, there's never availability to just try it on. We're hitting Lloyds up in Johns Creek this weekend eventually - Soccer USA in Kennesaw moved to an even smaller location than before and the selection of Women's cleats is practically non existent now. Anyone have any suggestions for other local stores - if just to try on a brand and size so we may be able to find something online. We're not to the point of using duct tape to hold the current ones together yet but I'm not certain they'll last the weekend's games.

I thought the hardest part is most brands don't make women's cleats. Most of my 17s and 18s wear the men's cleats, like half our team wear Copa's.

I would check out www.zappos.com/cleatsSimply because they have a very liberal return policy as in, you dont like they will take them back with little or no charge. Zappos is quite good

Can't really help you because my daughter has the opposite problem - she has to wear men's cleats because her feet are wide and women's 11. Hard to find that size in any shoe so she wears men's. She bought completely personalized cleats with gift money she received, but she isn't really growing much anymore (she's 15).
But, Lloyds has a large selection of cleats and turfs. Better than the big box places. And they have other stores to get stock from if they do not have what you need in stock. And of course the advantage of trying on...

We've had pretty good luck at d***s. My daughter found a brand (Nike for her narrow foot) and style that work well for her and has stuck with it for the past few years. Last time she outgrew them, we ended up ordering online from d***s - free shipping and free returns.

I had a similar problem a couple of years ago when my daughter was 10/11 years old. It was nearly impossible to find the smallest women's sizes and she could no longer wear kids sizes. She now wears a size women's 10 (men's 9)but fortunately her foot is narrow so I can still find shoes occasionally. I've tried just about every store; Sports Authority, Lloyd's, The Soccer Store, Zappos, Soccer.com, and even eBay. The best selection I've found has been with hunting at various Sports Authority stores (particularly their clearance selection) as well as The Soccer Locker (http://www.soccerlockeratlanta.com/). Both have great deals if you visit during the right times (end of fall and spring seasons).

My go to in the past was always bestbuy soccer on 85 access road. Little frustrated last time I was there, because they wouldn't bring out both the left and right shoes at the same time to try on..... Their prices have typically been better than lloyds.

You can try Titan Team Sports on Jones Bridge and State Bridge - not far from Lloyds. We found cleats there for my daughter not long ago. She wears mens cleats at this point (men's 8, she's a women's 9).

I would stay away from the chain stores, they typically have entry level cleats or couple of the high end models but not much selection especially for female cleats. I know the soccer store on Pleasant Hill Rd and Best Buy Soccer near spaghetti junction typically have a large selection.

we just got the womens world cup shoes at LLoyds. Worth it!! SoccerLocker on Pleasant Hill has great deals, but not any real women's styles. SoccerLocker has a discount if you are with UFA as well. Haven't tried Best Buy but have heard good things.

Not sure this will help much... but FWIW, the Di cks on Lenox Road @ 400 has much better selection than the one near Northpoint mall.
I normally am against this but we tried on and left, then ordered from Nike.

Lloyds was great. Tried on and ordered from one of their other stores. Haul out there though but a good resource

My u10 girl got these at Lloyd's a couple of weeks ago. The picture really doesn't do justice to just how pink they actually are! LOL

Those are what we ordered too. Pink doesn't begin to describe that color. But at these old eyes will be able to spot her on the field now - heck the space station may be able to spot her now. LOL

We have a young man on my son's team wearing boots that are "THAT PINK" - can't miss him, that's for sure!
My son opts for the crazy orange color. Easier to find him on the field except on of the other players on his team has boots the same color and is similar in size and shape to my son. So, speaking of old eyes, sometimes... I'm not seeing my kid. ;-)

So, speaking of old eyes, sometimes... I'm not seeing my kid. ;-) My kid has the exact same hair color and length as about three other girls on her team. Two of them are her size and build - were it not for the three different color of cleats out there, none of us moms would know our own kid. We now have bright yellow, bright green and bright pink. It's like a freaking pack of skittles out there on game day.
