CONCACAF Olympic qualifying starts tonight for the USWNT. If you want to watch the game, you better have an account that allows you to live stream through NBC. This is because: "CONCACAF approached NBC about broadcasting the tournament just over two weeks before it is set to kick off. Such a quick turnaround made for extremely limited TV windows, which are scheduled months in advance." NBC Streaming Olympic qualifyingCan you imagine the USSF putting up with the same nonchalance in relation to making USMNT matches available to the viewing public? No. They made sure we got to see two ridiculous friendlies recently where I watched Gyasi Zardes run like the wind out on the wing. Of course, he also plays soccer like he has some kind of impenetrable force field around his feet that leads to balls flying at amazing angles in unpredictable directions. Just awesome!

any idea if the standard Comcast account allows streaming through NBC? I have the app on my device and I have Comcast and it will work. The app is pretty good. They stream a lot on there and I see the game listed as upcoming. NBC Sports Live Extra is the app. Looking forward to watching.

Too much of a frantic pace for Costa Rica. Costa Rica still tried to play simple through the entire game, so I'll give them credit. Anyone catch the alex morgan interview after the game where she said they have been working on that kickoff as a set play? A play??? the play was Horan banging it down field? what kind of play is that? Yes it worked, only because Loyd had an amazing flick on. But seriously a play to bang the ball forward 40 yards?
Klingenberg to be needs to slow down, she constantly is losing the ball because she runs like a maniac 100% full speed. Take a breath Meghan and relax, and then you won't give the ball away as much as you do. Wasn't impressed.
Dunn - she just gets the ball and runs full speed at defenders. And when I say at defenders, its literally at defenders, she tries to run through them. Not her best effort again, even though she scored. Seems like she is stuck in the mode that she needs to impress Jill and again needs to just relax.
Tobin - I think she is done, and should be replaced. She holds the ball way to long!!!! and when her and Meghan were on the same side, it wasn't pretty.
Pugh - can't say enough, how much I love this girl. She is the real deal. Composed, smooth, and quick. Plays every ball at the right pace and on the ground. She made a great run down the right side, beat a girl and played a beauty in the box, it was a gift and loyd wanked it wide.
Press - her goal was pretty sick.
Team still tried to play too many big balls in the box in the final third. Again a night with little technical play outside of Pugh and Press's goal, which you would think in a 5-0 game, you would start thinking about just keeping possession and playing simple. Julie and Becky were pretty solid in the back, and Costa Rica never really threatened. Julie does tend to give the ball away way to much on errant passes, but she is a beast to deal with defensively.
