There's one in December at the Lakepoint complex in Cartersville - does anyone recommend it? Thanks,

We knew players who did this camp last year - still no college nibbles so based on that - no. Typically these 'cattle call' ID camps are more money makers than actual ID camp.

Go to an actual college ID camp where typically there are a dozen plus coaches in attendance, Georgia State just hosted one recently. GSI is just a money grab Even those you have to be pretty careful - there was one last summer at a school in NC - claimed upwards of 30 coaches would be there and the cost was over $600. Turned out there were about a dozen or so coaches there - all looking at their current crop of recruits - no one who signed up off the street got a look. Pick a school you like, research how many kids they accept at the paid ID camp (if it's 100 or more - it's a money grab) and try one of those. Some clubs like Concorde and Roswell have had ID camps in winter as well. Look at where the kid wants to go first - then look locally to see if that school will be at a camp or ask the coach what ID camps he or she attends.
