A local girls' team is looking to add to its schedule. It's a three year old HS, no seniors yet (adding classes each year). 900 students. Not yet affiliated with GISA/GHSA. Only have 10 games to date. Experience/quality is about what you would expect for a new school.
If you have a contact at a similarly sized school and may be able to make a connection about setting up a match/friendly please email me at HSCoach@mail.com

Still hoping to hear from someone - lots of looks at the thread however!

Have you tried reaching out directly to some small high school programs? I have a boy and am not familiar with girls' programs so not much help but keep reaching out and hopefully something will pan out. Good luck!

Where are you located? How far are you willing to travel? To find a school of your general size and location, you can look at this list: GHSA region alignments. www.ghsa.net/2016-2017-region-alignments With a school of about 900, I think that would be approximately a AA or AAA school. Then I'd try to find the athletic director at those schools (usually available on school website) and contact them about the possibility of scheduling something. Good luck.

My two cents to get some games:
1 - Reach out to some clubs and see if some U15-U18 teams would want to scrimmage. You can gauge the level and see if you want to ask Athena A or B teams to play. 2 - Look at some smaller college programs in the area and try to set up a spring scrimmage. Suggestions - Georgia Gwinnett, Berry, Life University 3 - Contact GA Soccer - in the past they've had a section for teams that don't play in the spring to list if they are open to spring scrimmages.
Good luck and hope you get some matches. What part of town are you in?

Thanks for the advice and suggestions. Team has currently 10 games. Figured sending out as many feelers as possible helps now in short term and later too. I've gone to every possible place to look for matches, but I will keep looking a swell
As the school grows it will become part of an established division within GISA. For now, it's build quite literally from the ground up for this school.
