My son will play in it again this year. He had fun last year playing with former teammates and boys he has known since u8. It is an honor and your coach has to recommend you to play, it's not all about paying the money, so please don't let wise cracks ruin it for your kid.
Your kids High School is suppose to reimburse the expense, fyi.
It's also fun to see the DA boys that quit their teams to play high school represented in this game also.

Agree with the above poster...if you check the rosters, there a lot of highly ranked schools represented. Kids get to play an exhibition game against club rivals and former teammates. Part of the money will pay for shirts, referees, field rentals and miscellaneous expenses. Let the kids enjoy and don't be so negative. I checked their website and didn't see where they claimed college coaches would btw.

You spend about $50 pp for an in-town, non college showcase type tournament, where you get 3-4 games. This is $90 for one game.
I looked and I think I saw one player from Gwinnett (I am most familiar with Gwinnett, not trying to say that’s the only place for quality players) and that is the backup goalie for Parkview. No all-region or all-county players and very few from teams that made HS playoffs.
Absolutely correct it’s another opportunity to play with/against one’s club and HS teammates and have fun. But it is a relatively expensive opportunity at that. And the only qualification is to ask: ‘Coach, can you send in a recommendation for me to this website?’.

Coach doesn't have to honor requests. Coach has to provide stats. Kids from Lambert, McIntosh, St Pius, Woodward all made team. All are noteworthy programs. I'm sure there were others but those jumped out.
