Have quite a few friends over there and all are confused as to what the team setup will be as to who, what, where and whom is coaching what. Does anyone have an idea of their structure?

Here’s the team setup for CF at least: www.concordefire.com/tryoutsI think it’s that simple? Nothing says CF/SSA.. I assume SSA encourages their rising u15 DA boys to go to CF, but otherwise it feels like a press release and not much more. Maybe parents at either club with potential-alliance kids have been told specifically what it means.

Updated Concorde Fire tryout listing shows the addition of NPL at U15 and older for boys & U14 and older for girls (the SSA piece) so the league hierarchy is: Boys: U8 - U11: Academy U12: SCCL Academy U13 - U14: DA ECNL SCCL Classic I - III U15 & Older: DA ECNL NPL SCCL Classic I - III
Girls: U8 - U11: Academy U12: SCCL Academy U13: ECNL SCCL Athena A - B U14 & Older: ECNL SCCL NPL Athena A - B

Anyone seen coaching assignment list for next years teams? CF doesn’t publish them... you’ll have to ask DOCs, coaches, friends, or the Spider’s little birds

Why wouldn't they post a coaches list? Seems odd.

Why wouldn't they post a coaches list? Seems odd. While asking one of the above about the coaches, you’d also have to ask why they don’t publish said list

I know of at least one person who was confused when Concorde had NPL listed as an option... but that is specifically for SSA kids, correct? Because this is a partnership, not a merger, so the SSA kids will be at tryouts for Concorde ECNL but can go back to SSA for NPL.

It is my understanding that, at least on the boys side, they will hold combined tryouts for all the alphabet leagues for U15 and older. They will attempt to roster the teams with the best available players in order, DA, ECNL, NPL, SCCL, regardless of which club they were with the previous year.

So would the Concorde players then where the SSA uniforms for NPL? And would they practice at of SSA field's?

I really don’t know how it’s going to play out. Will be interesting when all the dust settles. It would be nice to know things like coach & practice location before tryouts, but as this is such a unique scenario, we’ll just have to wait and see what they come up with.
