My son turned down MLS last year and got to play hs ball and play with all of his club friends and they won a state hs championship and I promise you he has not regretted that decision. Once da folded he has enjoyed his ecnl time.

If the kid is a baller they have a place to play. End of discussion. If they are on the bubble or can be replaced then they are not a baller, only in parents eyes. Is the kid top 2 on team, then they are balllers.

Disagree nasa scored on a questionable pk in the box that was not called until the nasa parents complained and the linesman raised her flag only after parents complained, about 20 seconds later after the challenge. Center ref was awful as he never travelled farther than 20 yards.

* The role sports play in social justice-It should play no role. You should not be able to, just because you are a sports athlete, be able to protest for your cause or political beliefs at your place of employment.(preface this by saying I went to a U2 concert and I along with many others did not appreciate them talking about politics) Do it on your dime and your time. * The importance of failing- Agree, firmly believe in failing and showing fortitude to succeed and lessons learned getting there * How to stand out in the hiring process- be yourself, sell yourself through experiences, and act like you want to be there. * Building a strong workplace culture- Be fair, non judgemental, treat everyone as you would a family member, listen, put yourself in their shoes, we are a team working towards the same goal, inclusion, hold people accountable, win, just win.

Ok, too harsh. There are some legitimately good to great people on the list, but I would put that number at about 30%. I am not sure who nominates the players to get on the all star team, but looking at the list it is missing a ton of good players that play at the highest levels of club soccer and kill it for their HS teams and are not on the list. I watched a game from last year and the final score was 8-0. During that game I saw a kid brutally slide tackle another player and could have ended his playing career and thankfully he got up. When you get less skillful players they try to use physicality in place of skill. Throw in the fact that they are in an "All Star Game" and they think it is the world cup.

Oh Please hateallthesechanges.......
Complete money grab, if it was about the real allstars, at least 5 players from our team should have made it. Not sure who picks the allstars, but not a reflection of the true best players unfortunately. You would see a ton of different names on the roster if those players were picked by the real coaches of the leagues. The list of all stars are laughable +90 bucks. Not worth the risk, for what?

As I tell my son, leave no doubt, if you do it right, refs don't matter. Don't let refs decide the game, leave no doubt. If you don't you are left in someone else's hands.

Anyone have listings of all region teams, I know some of the info has been slowly coming out, but is there an all encompassing list of all the different regions?

I told y’all it’s going to be Lambert winning it all again. They will handle Harrison next week. I was wrong about Central but right about West not being able to compete with Campbell. If West cannot get the ball to the small striker then they have no offense. GotRight

I don't think Lambert could beat Walton or Hillgrove this year. They might be 4th best team if they were in Region 3.

Nah, Lambert lost to Harrison already this year. Will be lucky to get by Parkview.

As the song goes, I'm half the man I used to be. He played for TN. My son's team played them, he was mediocre at best, guess the years caught up to him.

Concorde U18/19 vs Cesa Concorde won 1-0 should have been 2-0 but refs did not give a bar down goal that was obvious. Buyer beware all the refs at CESA knew the home team players by name.

My son was begged to come to MLS next team. He stuck with ECNl. My son also turned down Atlanta United Academy. He is his own person. Saying MLS next is better than ECNL is laughable. The only good teams are MLS academy teams. Outside of them are 2nd rate teams.

That is the exact scenario here. He has tortured them every year we play them and then poof we want you now immediately. Turning his life upside was the reason that we let him decide. We told them to reach out in the summer and now they are mad and said they didn't want him now. It is ok, because my son said he wouldn't have accepted their offer again. I think he likes his club and his HS.

True story. Offered in January. Gave 3 days notice. Wanted my son to quit HS and be enrolled in virtual in a matter of 3 days. Left it to my son. He declined. They suck because they have known him since U12. He was brought in multiple times throughout the years. Then they decide to take him, but only on 3 days notice. Left the decision to my son and his final answer was no. Does that give you enough info to figure out who I am?
