It's pretty darn soggy. UFA already closed grass fields for today. Then everyone has to find their cold weather gear for tomorrow. Wild ride this weekend!

My analogy is this: Go to work. If you make the slightest mistake you get told by everyone around you. LOUDLY. ALL THE TIME. You may be able to handle it - you're an adult. For many games these are CHILDREN!!!

OK - I retract the "distracting white part" based on images I have just seen around on-line (and above) where it is replaced with the primary color for the participating team. But I still don't understand the "kickstand."

Thanks for the clarification.. :-)
So my 2 cents - the new one is cleaner, more professional looking and more up-to-date than the old one, but that silly dangling thing on the bottom left is what? Not to mention the empty white space is distracting - like someone forgot something.
That's just my opinion.

The poll - What are you really asking - Do you like the NEW MLS Logo or the OLD MLS Logo?

1 day down..no rain.... 1 more to go :-) I wouldn't say "no rain" - UFA Dawson game @ Rock Creek had a DELUGE in the first half! We HEARD the rain before it got to the field. But - by the end of the game the sun was shining brightly again. Wacky weather for sure!

As the parent of a very disappointed 02 boy who was told he was on a coach's short list (again) for the prelims - it's sad that he didn't get a chance to try at the state level. I'm not by any means saying he SHOULD make it, but since he is that close - I think it would be a great thing for him to experience the expected level of play. He tends to match the level of play that is occurring - and it would be intriguing to know if he could achieve "the right stuff" in the eyes of someone in the know.
That being said, I enjoyed being able to have a relatively free Sunday - only having to be one place instead of 2... :-)

Pretty tame at our little section of the TopHat tourney. Refs also doing mandatory water breaks and being on the safe side. Parents for our group were very well behaved. Everyone seemed more concerned about the girls and the heat. Yay parents! Thanks for acting like adults! (side note - the day is young... ;-) )

LSA's top U12s are playing U13 Classic II as well.
Club Passing U11s to U13 - In theory - yes. Unless they have changed it, the system could allow it. As a U12, when club passing players from U12 to the U13s, the team selection drop down showed ALL possible teams to club pass to, not just one age group up. Unsure of whether or not that has changed.

Thanks so much for the advice! We're going to contact the assignor at UFA-Norcross and try to work at Pickneyville since it's so close to our house even though she doesn't play there anymore. To be honest, I'm not even sure how to get their contact info. The club secretary is out of town for a couple of weeks so we might have to wait. I'm going to nose around the internet and see what turns up. Again, thanks for the info! UFA Norcross Referee Assignor try Mike Wright refereeadmin@nsafury.org UFA Referee Assignor is Linda Hughes ref_assignor@yahoo.com
