Announcers stated Clemson game was more of a rivalry bc of proximity and the number of Georgia players on the team. Imagine if UGA could have kept those GA players. Very physical game, I watched as GA player was carted off by ambulance with what appeared to be a broken lower leg. I hate to hear that about the leg injury. I do not like to hear injuries like that being a measure of the physicality because those can happen during the course of any game and very brutally physical games can occur without injury. Was that broken leg the result of a reckless challenge? Missed the ball to clear and got the leg full swing in tight quarters. It was accidental I believe, a yellow was given.

UGA plays a game they should win today against GSU. Played a very tough Clemson team and lost by 1 and played well against VT. Lets see if they can win the games they are supposed to win. IMO a loss here should put the nail in coaches coffin. I think they just hired the coach in waiting, it looks like he has been running the practices as well as being very vocal during the games. From what I am hearing the girls have really connected with him Announcers stated Clemson game was more of a rivalry bc of proximity and the number of Georgia players on the team. Imagine if UGA could have kept those GA players. Very physical game, I watched as GA player was carted off by ambulance with what appeared to be a broken lower leg.

It’d be cool if people identify boys vs girls when commenting. Fan of both, however I was was referring to girls in my comment above. I'll follow your thoughts on both, not picky.

Girls playoffs have started, no real surprises yet in 4/23 games. Tonight's games 4/24 shouldn't have any either. Looking forward to next match ups. Thoughts?

There’s a girl from one of the UFA DA teams that plays for her public high school. If your talking about the girl on the Lassiter team, she quit DA in the fall, thanks for investigating.

Don't know how Brian Moore got left out. Like him or not, he did a great job when he found his type of players. I would have never let my daughter play for him (she did play for Troy and Steve M), but I do have a lot of respect for Brian as a coach.
UGA Women's Soccer 2017 Stats OVERALL 4-12-2 PCT .278 CONF 0-9-1 PCT .050 He's NOT doing great at UGA.

TopHat has been known to do this as well. In fact, I would guess that most of the big clubs/coaches have done it from time to time. Not really, maybe it's happened a few times but its not blatantly widespread like other clubs. We started competitive in another SE state, happened there too. It's not uncommon. Tryouts SUCK! So glad mine is a Senior. College soccer has got to be easier on these kids when you eliminate us parents.

CF is the master of holding kids hostage, letting parents know their kid is on the bubble for a top team and then get offered a 3rd or 4th team spot. This is whats wrong with some of these clubs. Be honest, be upfront, talk with the coach and let him know what you're plan. If he's a tool, you have your answer and find another club. Why do we as parents continue to tolerate that? CF is not the only club who does it (although they are probably the worst) and I think it boils down to the integrity of the coaches. They try to keep these kids in their back pocket in the event they don't get some of the players they expect. If I know my kid is a bubble player, i don't know that I would necessarily stick around for a coach to make up their mind. I would definitely try my luck at another club in hopes that my kid gets a spot. I've witnessed so many shenaverybadwordns from the parents and coaches combined and it just makes for a bad experience. it's no wonder the parents get crazy at this time of year. Will it get better - is there any change in sight? Tophat is doing the same thing, kids #'s were called, they were told congrats, then they got an apology call later. Guess Daddy Warbucks made a "call" for his princess, and somebody had to go.

No ECNL player should be playing in the State Cup...period. It's not their team, nor do they deserve to take time from players that have played all year for the chance to play in the State Cup. Before anybody attacks me, I am the parent of an ECNL player. [br DA parent, My kid was in this situation when playing ECNL. It's hard on both sides, it wasn't for development, it was in hopes of advantage. My kid just wanted to play soccer, more games, bring it. It was awkward to say the least.

Quick clarification - concorde has informed all thier current DA and ECNL teams about this correct? I heard teams had meetings but wanted to verify - they are the important ones to have received this info. No they have not informed DA teams formally.

So the next question is will GDA "highly recommend" CF NT players relocate to GDA club because TH and UFA are in the area? Their are at least 5 in CF DA currently.

What do I do with my weekends now? Daughter tore her ACL in an RPL game in Jacksonville, FL. Worked so hard to finally make this team, no what?? Surgery is necessary, and no high school soccer either...... Been there done that, my advice... Based on QUAD reconstruction. Strength train 2x and PT 3x weekly. We were busier than ever in recovery. The strength gains core and upper body while lower body is healing help the mental turmoil. By the time she gets to squats, strength training really helps move things along safely and builds confidence. Our PT and trainer worked hand in hand.. My 2 cents.

SoccerMom... have to agree. when i ask several friends ... without hesitation they say DA. My issue and my daughter's is the 01-02 age combination. Help me understand why it is not a downgrade for an 01.
