DA ECNL NPL=NL SCCL I didn’t say NL was 4th tier, I said it was quickly becoming 4th tier. Here is a very interesting case study for next year that could illustrate the differences in the leagues for all those that complain about these teams not playing each other: NASA’s 05 (U14) ECNL team was that club’s second team behind their DA team and they finished dead last. Because NASA doesn’t have DA beyond U14, their rising 05 (U15) ECNL team has completely reset and is now made up entirely of DA players from NASA, Concorde Fire, UFA, & AU. They are the only club in the Southeast ECNL division with this particular circumstance, so you will essentially see Atlanta’s #4 U15 DA team playing an ECNL schedule next year. The results should answer the question one way or another! That’s why no other club has won it like Ksa hate to say it but I’m switching my kids over there next season |

It’s comical to read some of these replies that are loaded with assumptions and far reaching speculations about KSA players.. Talking about Birth Certificates and their players.. when did this issue occur and has there been age verification issues since? With that side, what others clubs have experienced age verification issues like maybe like how Dalton U15s was able to compete in semis due to NSA player issues making them forfeit all games. Poaching players off the streets.. Is that even possible? Education level of players?? Isn’t it mandated by the State grade level youth are required to be enrolled into an educational program through the age of 16? So based on the definition of the word and your explanation, poaching or illegal recruitment is just speculation w/o specific examples and findings from ga soccer. Definition: to take or appropriate unfairly or illegally, To take illegally essentially by trespassing.. and your explanation, Recruitment from an pick up play (youth up to 13 and adults +18) and not for profit organization partnered with us soccer, ga soccer, and AU seems like an open opportunity for any club to link into essentially near a Marta station Clarify the following for me- is talking to players from opposing teams during State Cup illegal recruiting? Is taking a family from another team out to dinner in season illegal recruiting? Asking for a friend... Let people play where they want to play, stop trying to create monopolies (SCCL) your pay check will still come in. Let those who want to get serious with their soccer career do it. If people like your club they will stay if they go they never liked it. |

Rationalizing it as normal and therefore acceptable... doesn’t change the fact that it is a genuine problem. I am not rationalizing it, nor do I think it is acceptable for the prices to keep going up. I was just pointing out that people aren't going to leave SOCCER for another sport, they will leave SPORTS at the elite level all together. We have people on our team that are struggling with the costs of travel. This is what the clubs made SCCL for. The problem is that not everyone can do SCCL right now. The clubs that have it are all in metro Atlanta. Some people still live too far from the locations that have it. Maybe it’s becuase in SCCL we keep playing the same Alabama team. It’s worse than it was in GA soccer, all lies in SCCL |

Good thang governing bodies for youth soccer checks for birth verification and document are required upon request at the playing fields; I bet any team manager would know first hand about carrying teams binders... oops, I guess u forgot that part As a former team manager, I can tell you that we never submitted birth certificates to GA Soccer, only pictures. The club submits the players information to GA Soccer for ADG, but no birth certificate either. Usually only the TM has this and not the club for tournament purposes. When we participated in RPL and Regionals, we didn't have to submit birth certificates either, since kids already have a player pass from the state. For tournaments, yes you submit a birth certificate for "checking" but its just looked at, no one verifies if its real or fake. I have seen parents with blank signed birth certificates from different countries and then they go get them filled out at an office. In fact I had someone ask me to help them fill one out once and I said no, this was not someone from our club, they happen to come in to a place I worked at the time. Believe what you want, but it happens, at some clubs more than others. You can choose to look the other way as long as you are winning I guess Yet we are not looking at UFA, Sergio magana was the biggest cheater during the NSA days would recruit girls with some talent who where 2 years older. Yeah my kid's team plays the same 6 teams 2x, but honestly you play the same 8,9, or 10 teams once in Athena/Classic in GA Soccer. So far SCCL is better organized as well. I think overall SCCL will succeed because they are doing things that GA Soccer refused to do or fix. Only time will tell though. |

Hmmm... I never have an issue with calling out bad behavior and bad actors in the world of Youth Soccer. However, when you levy an accusation like this, please be ready, willing and able to back things up with proof, facts and a real justification that isn't exclusively in your head alone. Sergio is a top-notch Coach with a stellar record of working within the youth ranks on both the boys n girls side. He took over this team mid season 2/3 years ago after their coach bailed for another Big 5.5 club. That coach had inherited an Athena A team but proceeded to drive them down into an Athena C team. Morale was low and many girls were on the verge of leaving and some wanting to quit soccer all-together. Sergio coached them all the way back to Athena A and ultimately RPL, even with him losing girls to other ECNL clubs yearly. Also, for the record, he didn't win a tournament called Nationals cub, after a whole season of playing in the SCCL within the US Club Soccer umbrella, the team *qualified* for and ultimately won the US Club Soccer #NationalCupXVIII!! 🏆🏆🏆 I say all this to give a picture that he doesn't have to cheat. I await and look forward to your response justifying your accusations and proving to me that it's not all in your head... Nothing concrete , but it was a perfect set up to see who is with who and help me brain storm why this thread was started. Pure jealousy , why compare ga soccer things with SCCL. New people are looking for info and there is a lot on the forum. There are a lot of conflicting opinions as well. Nothing wrong with that. |

Ksa got kicked out of Bryson Park last year. Bryson Park has their own soccer program again. KSA have Harmony Grove, mainly and share/rent the turf fields at Rock Springs and South Gwinnett Parks. |

This forum has a lot of people on it that argue about SCCL vs Georgia Soccer, ECNL vs DA, NPL vs SCCL, NPL vs NL and now the added fun of DPL. New people are looking for info and there is a lot on the forum. There are a lot of conflicting opinions as well. Nothing wrong with that. So to be sure i'm understanding you, you are rebranding a rumor as fact, or you were doing an experiment and going with what you perceive as the trend on here of folks spreading rumors? For the record and so there is no illusion or confusion. I am a proud parent of two kids that started and were developed by UFA. Secondly, my kids don't play SCCL but I think it's a league that with the right leadership and direction, could grow into a solid option outside of DA/ECNL. Like others have noted, if you are going to drop a firebomb like accusing someone of cheating, at least have the decency to back it up. Folks on here deserve to know all the facts to make an informed opinion of their own. Thankfully most folks on here are experienced, well informed and don't go off of trojans, rumors or personal vendettas. |
