Its going to start affecting countries where this is becoming more common. Brazilian and African players may begin to avoid Spain and Italy and such.

The article outlines many such incidents, including a player's sister (watching from the stands) being hit in the face... disgraceful.

Its going to start affecting countries where this is becoming more common. Brazilian and African players may begin to avoid Spain and Italy and such. I hear for some American players in Europe, this has been a factor in their development. You definitely have to have a tough skin to play at the highest levels. However, when you throw young lads to the racist wolves that changes the dynamics and one's psyche. I do know this, if I had a kid of color good enough to play in Europe, I would not sign off on him/her playing in Italy. In my personal experience as a fan at games, the fans there are brutal and unrelenting. At least in the English FA there is an atmosphere of wanting to do something to curb this foolishness. Just a sad situation that you wouldn't think would be around in 2019 " src="//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/superangry.png">
