Sounds like panhandle, south Alabama, Mississippi version of SCCL. Sounds like a "league" to me. Just not a new level...

It's a league that focuses on clubs. No, wait, they mean players first. No clubs first. Wait no....

Reading through the links... sounds like they pool players for "elite" I-10 teams. Some I-10 teams played in National Cup XVII Finals.

This is actually a GREAT idea. I know a lot of coaches from the Mobile/Pensacola/PCB area and its tough. After Academy ages they have to be tournament teams only or travel 4-8 hours for games each weekend.
So combining these three areas from Region 3 into its own soccer environment will allow them to play more local and competitive games.
Just imagine most of the Florida Panhandle can’t play in Florida Soccer unless they want to travel to Orlando, Jacksonville, or Miami. Now that PCB team can go play Mobile, Montgomery, Biloxi and Gulfport areas which are only an hour to three hours away.
