Maybe I'm not looking in the right places but does SCCL keep up with player stats? I know ECNL and even classic/Athena soccer does.

Ive seen plenty of ECNL games without stats entered. I suppose it's up to an individual to enter them if they feel like it.
To my mind only DA does it with consistency.

At the Athena level the TM enters the stats and MANY coaches actually discourage it. I have never seen SCCL stats. ECNL has been inconsistent...seems very team dependent, but I like that they track assists too. DA only tracks goals, cards, games played and games started.

On the girls side no league does more stats than DA. They even track minutes played. It appears to be pretty consistent as well for all games. I do wish all leagues were more consistent with stats.

DA does track minutes played for the older age groups, yes. They don't track assists or any keeper stats though. The minutes played you have to go to the game card to see, which is a pain, but is there for you to find if you want to...the lack of tracking assists I think is a significant omission.

The only thing I have seen tracked are yellow/red cards. Even there, I have seen a card listed without a number.

I haven’t seen any place publicly stating the league tracks stats but some teams do. If you access some of the team rankings pages, then the roster, you will see some are tracking goals. Haven’t noticed any tracking assists.

DA seems to be the league that does best at tracking stats. Could be due to college coaches wanting to see it.

Unless it is mandated if I were a coach I would discourage it as well. Last season my son's team the team manager put in all the stats by game, and about 1/2 to 2/3's into the season they were pretty much double and triple teaming our top scorer from the opening whistle. Didn't really help those teams, it just opened up other players to score instead.

The referees enter DA stats.
