Since this was the first weekend in which all the local DA boys teams played games (u15-u18/19) for Atlanta United, Concorde, and UFA what were thoughts on those matches for those clubs?
Heard UFA’s u15 won both there matches, including one today 2-1 in the last minutes of the match. Anyone else have any feedback on the the Cup, the clubs and age groups?

I believe the AU U15s, U17s, U19s all won this weekend against the Houston Dynamo. The team i'm watching since they posted a tryout to occur this month to find players for their U15 team is DC United. They have played 3 games and scored zip but given up 18, with the Philly Union dropping 11 - WoW U15s : 4-2 U17s : 3-2 U19s : 1-0 Next week, I believe CF n UFA lock horns for the U15/17/19s, we should get a good idea how the club shuffling worked out between the two. In a couple of weeks all three AU teams travel down to play their Inter Miami CF counterparts. Word out of Miami, is the supporters don't yet have a first team, so the DA Academy games have been a ruckus affair with the supporters coming out in full force to show love. u19 DA teams not best in Georgia. Nope. Also crazy thing is the Atlanta united’s u19 coach wouldn’t even get hired to coach DA at ufa or concorde. It shows ya how often it’s not what your know, but who you know......

socceristhebest I guess I should start by stating what may not be obvious about the U19s at AU, they are a hodgepodge of a team. Some are trying to legitimately go pro by playing with the USL, others are more focused on college and maybe college ball. I guess you can dislike Roddy's style of coaching but he is a good coach with loads of experience at the youth and professional landscape | and i'm not talking about his personal experiences either. Finally, it may truthfully be who you know but Roddy came from UFA, as in he was not on the chopping block and would have definitely been picked as a DA coach where he still at UFA when they were granted a DA program. Side note, he wouldn't have taken a job with CF, because he was offered one by GB on multiple occasions. Just sayin...

Im not so sure he would have been offered a DA coach spot at UFA given how awful his teams at Norcross were. I know quite a few people that played for him and quit soccer all together because of him. If he had been given a UFA DA job, it would certainly be as a favor.

Can't wait to see UFA's 19s steamroll Atlanta United........unfortunately they do not play thanks to MLS clubs and US Soccer conspiring to ruin our sport!
And to respond to above, they maybe would throw him a bone and let him coach the u12 DA team, wait that's gone...
My kid was on one of those girls teams that got ruined by his coaching attitude and style - and when I say ruined, I'm being polite.
