Bello played a few games early for AU. He didn't play any towards end of season. AB has shown that he will spend for named players. Who has AU developed and brought in for the top team. Last I checked none. AC and GB are spot players. AC spent most of the year at AU2. Bello was in the early plans, but he got hurt in May and was out for 3 months. He was slowly brought on so as not to have a recurrence of his injury. This discussion wasn't about who AU has developed (you have made your disdain for them clear on other threads). My comment was just to say that there are quality players like Bello and Busio and Reyna who play for the 17's and I don't think the issue is talent or development. I think the issue is US tactics and how they play as a unit (or don't). Same goes for senior National team.

It seems like most of the promising up and coming potential talent coming from us soccer or MLS end up fading away for various reasons we can list. That is for another thread. Us soccer and MLS is below average or mediocre at best, I'm not sure why people get so upset when they lose in tournaments or friendlies.its a big achievement if they get out of the group stage in world competitions. I'm just saying at this point, the climate is not conducive, leaders in charge are either about the money or dont get it, the youth scene is expensive, majority (not all)coaches are mediocre. Pulisic already laid out a good blueprint on how to be above average and possibly be world class. It's not easy and it takes a lot to go elsewhere, but the kids that go this route have a higher chance to be world class or at least above average

Well not the greatest day from our left back, need to watch more leading up to each goal, but he was "around" the ball for each goal that was scored: goal 1 -- tough to defend 1v1, and got stuck having to mark 2 men with #12 wide open if he over commits to the man with the ball, but might have hesitated a bit to give him more space. goal 2 -- hard to tell whose mark it, is but he right around there when the ball is played across, maybe he was slow getting back goal 3 -- the announcer is commenting, look at the space there is.... Did he get caught attacking given it was 0-2? He's really never even in the picture goal 4 - did it get started with a stray pass?
