Does anyone have a clip of the non called foul against Nagbe right before Toronto's 2nd goal? The boys ran harder to the center official then they did trying to defend..

And Bradley commits textbook DOGSO and no red card. Runs over a player in 2nd half and no caution. He should be getting Allen Kelly a nice Christmas gift this year since he got two last night.
And Gressel getting slapped in the face right before half-time. No VAR for hands to the face / head?
Props to Allen Kelly for the win.
Yes, ATL should have done more to win, but it's understandable how they felt playing 11 v. 12 when it should have been 11 v. 10 after the opening minutes.

Me thinks to blame the Toronto CR is futile.
Me thinks AU had all the advantages and squandered it.

Here is a book purporting to capture all the behind the scenes voodoo that lead to Atlanta United's first MLS Championship. “Conquered” is full of absorbing behind-the-scenes information, gathered from interviews with team owner Arthur Blank, team president Darren Eales, and others on the sporting and business ends of the operation. At a book festival Nov. 17, Rosenberg and Eales will discuss Atlanta United’s past, present, and future... www.scoreatl.com/stories/conquered-new-book-on-building-of-atlanta-united-hits-market-saturday/

Atlanta United GK coach [Aron Hyde] was banned from the bench after a dust-up with Frank de Boer. Most of you remember Hyde, he was the voice of Tata the first two seasons during the halftime chats with sideline reporters. Covered in The Athletic, the article details an incident during the Montreal game, where there was a moment in the second half when Atlanta was up 1-0 when Parky apparently pulled a hamstring and needed a sub. Frank calls up Pogba for the sub and wants him in ASAP. However, Aron Hyde was insisting on giving Pogba instructions on who to mark on set pieces etc, while Frank just wanted to get him on because of Parky's potential injury leaving a major gap in our defense. While the two coaches were arguing, even exchanging expletives, Pogba just waited for instructions while Parky was clearly laboring with his bad leg. In that delay, Montreal equalized and Atlanta lost two points. Since then Hyde has been banned from the touchline in matches and he is not expected to return next season.

Interpretation: We expect you weekend warrior referees to issue a red card for DOGSO in your U14G Athena B game, but it's ok to let it slide for 'clumsiness' on the national stage. What a load of horses&&t. Circling the wagons to protect referees who are not up to the level of MLS, which isn't saying much. Watch any European match and see how much better the referees are at controlling the game and recognizing fouls. Not perfect, but clearly at a different level.

Atlanta lost the game on the missed PK; everything else was just icing off the cake.

I honestly don't see how you leave Josef in that long, knowing he's nursing a suspect hammy and more importantly, you squander a chance to put the Canadiens away by allowing him to take the PK. Just sayin...

So just curious what does Atlanta do with Martinez this off season as he is almost the complete opposite of what the coach wants.
Sell his rights to someone in Europe? In South America?
Or
Trade him for draft picks and/or allocation money?
