I don't really know if you are joking, but if you are not then how can you comment on ANY AU player when you don't even have a basic grasp of the personnel?!?! Josef is not perfect (no player is), but he has been a more well rounded player this year including combining passes with the other players and he is a clinical finisher which is what you want in a striker. Go watch some of his finishes this year and if you don't think he is good then you need help. He loves the long ball for sure and why not play to your strengths, but he does pretty well finding space when he receives the ball back to goal inside the 18 too. Not to mention a vertical leap that would make Michael Jordan proud. It is not easy to be an aerial threat at 5'7". I sincerely hope FdB doesn't get rid of Josef! |

All indications are that this is a move essentially forced by Nagbe, who wants to go back where his family is. He wanted it at the beginning of the season, agreed to stay this season, and now they're trading him before his contract is up and his value is zero.
I feel quite sure FdB would have loved to keep Nagbe, who is almost certainly the best midfielder in the league.
