No, she was born female. If you google her name and “Duke”, it shows pics from her playing days in college, where she just looks like any other female college soccer player. |

Not really understanding why this is news. She is a biological female playing in a female league. I don't have any issue with this unless she is taking testosterone to transition, and if that is the case she should not be allowed to play in the women's league anymore as it gives her an unfair advantage over other women. I think this news story is click bait and purposely ambiguous of her sex at birth (her chromosomes) to try to strike controversy when there is really none here again unless she is taking testosterone, and yes I'm calling her a she/her because that is what she is. The pronoun game is stupid. If we are talking about slippery slope, the only one I can see is a biological male saying they are a female and competing in competitive youth and adult sports leagues. That is wrong and an unfair advantage. This story is not that situation though. |
