So far i think the UFA/Arsenal partnership/relationship has been a full year. What have the players gained from this relationship, other than a logo on jersey, and having to buy and extra training top? I'm sure the cost of printing the logo on the shirt was baked into the uniform costs as well. But in all seriousness, are there arsenals scouts at games, has an older UFA player been invited to England. I'm sure there is some coaching education that has occurred, but struggling with the true benefit to the player. Just seems like all the relationship does is increase costs.

It's dumb... lol. My kid was on UFA last season, she never even wore the pregame jersey, maybe once she did. She definitely wasn't invited to London. We never heard anything about how it was benefitting us.

Our daughter played UFA ECNL/RL last season (2022-23). Early in the Fall (?) last year there was a zoom meeting (Arsenal+UFA) call announcing the partnership where they went through a powerpoint presentation. A while later, there were some Arsenal representatives that showed up for a group practice to talk about some things.... In addition to pre-game jersey, players were given the stat sport tracker/vest ($300 worth, sponsored by Arsenal, returned at end of season) to wear, but midway through Spring season I don't believe any of the girls were wearing them (either in practice or for the games). Not sure the data/info was ever used (no feedback from coaching staff during/after; whether they wore them or not...). There was some coaching interaction/benefit perhaps but was never discussed or covered with our team after the initial announcement...
In the Spring there was a couple of ECNL+ECNL/RL groups (multi-years within the teams/groups; players and parents) that traveled to England and played/toured/saw games but most 'regular folk' could not afford the time off school/work and/or $$$ but for the ones that did go they said it was good experience.
I thought during the initial announcement/zoom call they mentioned doing some summer camps/training stateside but I never saw anything on the UFA website nor got any emails etc.
Maybe this year will be different(?)

We utilized the stats sports vests as part of the partnership and received feedback from the coach utilizing the data to both the players and parents. Yes, Arsenal scouts/leaders have come multiple times over the last year and observed players and games. We also attended the trip to London at which the players trained twice at the arsenal academy center(all 4 training sessions were performed by Arsenal trainers). From a coaching perspective, they have been providing continuing education as well. Overall, seems like a successful 1st year and more then the normal badge on the shirt. With all that being said, I would say that it is definitely more of a benefit to the top teams.
