We have used The Sports Academy in Auburn. Specifically Jason who was really helpful to our player’s development. We also tried a semi-private lesson at Rabbit Hill with Eugene Gray who I believe is a GSA coach. I felt like there was value in that experience but it just wasn’t the best fit at the time.
I believe Upper 90 Elite also has options at Rhodes Jordan in Lawrenceville but our trainer there went on to play semi-pro. He was outstanding.
We have been focused on RDS lately for supplemental training for our U10 player and found it really valuable although the locations are not convenient to the areas you specified.

Thanks for replying. How was your experience with Eugene Gray?

Our experience with him wasn’t bad as he was very technically focused, attentive, and gave good corrections. It was a semi-private not a private lesson with about 7 kids so there was the added benefit of a scrimmage which was nice since he got to see different players and tactics beyond what he typically faced on his team. Our plan was to tryout the semi and then schedule some privates but stylistically it wasn’t a good match. Not because the coach did anything wrong. He’s rather stern and at our player’s age (then 8) and based on his overall demeanor I felt he would need someone who could not only challenge him but that he could develop a rapport with to stay motivated to continue the privates. Very individual circumstance and no reflection at all on the coach as I’m sure his approach is compatible with plenty of other players and he clearly could bring a good deal of technical development.

If you're open to british-blue collar type, I recommend Alex Wright who has coached at GSA and has since started coaching at a college in N Georgia. He can be harsh, but my daughter loved training with him, and his energy and focus is truly unmatched. twitter.com/AlexWri84287678?s=20dm if you'd like his number
