Anyone heard of a U11 girl playing up with U19s? An acquaintance mentioned someone he knew said their grand daughter was doing this and honestly I wasn't sure if the grandparent was misinformed or if it's real.
What's the largest age gap of a kid playing up you've heard of? Did they have impact at the higher level?

It would not surprise me if it's true, which is why I bring the question here. What's the largest age gap of a kid playing up you've heard of? Did they have impact at the higher level? Sorry but there isn’t a chance in hell that’s true. A TEN year old playing with juniors and seniors in HS?

No apology needed . I think you're probably right and the grandparent is mistaken, which would not surprise me at all. I asked them to give me more info. It doesn't impact me, but I did find it interesting, as I'd like to watch them play if true.

It’s true-her name is La Steriodia Messi III…she will be playing for the USWNT In their next friendly. Seriously-I have no idea if this is true but it seems highly suspect given the physicality of the athletes at that age.

I actually know of an 11 year old who is playing (she is a 2011 so u13) on a U19 team with a smaller club. I'm not sure how much she is playing. This team has: 1 2011 Girl 2 2010 Girls 5 2009 girls 1 2008 girl

I know of a U12 girl who guest played on a U16 lower level team. A lot of impact but this was a top team player playing with a 4th team. Her parent wanted her to play against bigger players to become more physical. It only happened a few times because the child’s coach did not like the idea.

Sadly this is this clubs only girls team

I knew a 13 year-old that played up on a U19 team. She did well, but 11 seems a little too young. Just from a safety standpoint.
Edit: U11? As in 10. That's a little scary
