Soccerhouse: punting is the problem not headers Sept 12, 2016 12:42:31 GMT -5
Slick96: Agreed trying to head punts is the issue. This being enforced differently depending on what ref you have is the bigger issue. It needs to be universally enforced or not in U11. In reality USSF should have grandfathered this rule starting U9 this year. Sept 12, 2016 13:16:20 GMT -5
Slick96: They should have grandfathered the age change also starting with U9 this year then U9 and U10 the next and so on. That would have helped a lot of issues that are going on now. Sept 12, 2016 13:16:52 GMT -5
HeaderRule: Refs are not enforcing the header rule correctly or consistently - maybe it's a learning curve with the new rule. Also - kickoffs are allowed to go backward (according to FIFA), also no consistent ref'ing there. And AMEN to grandfathering the age change! Sept 12, 2016 18:26:53 GMT -5
Gwinnett Soccer Guru: No heading in American youth soccer is like playing two-hand touch football and not allowing charges in basketball. Rules like these helps me understand why the US men are currently ranked #26 in the world. Sept 14, 2016 13:19:53 GMT -5
Soccerhouse: vote up there ^^^^^ Sept 16, 2016 14:38:43 GMT -5
rifle: Google "scottish tiki-taka"... Sept 17, 2016 8:07:37 GMT -5
zizou: rifle, that is hilarious! obviously not enforcing a no header rule!! Sept 19, 2016 14:57:24 GMT -5
NT Fan: What happened to the U17WNT today? Oct 5, 2016 14:33:51 GMT -5
Soccerhouse: UWNT u17 team play on sat against Japan. Really need a win and then if ghana wins, it would be a tie breaker and come to goal dif Oct 6, 2016 8:45:54 GMT -5
kofisouthside21: the us are out of the u17 wwc after losing to japan. also congrats to my country Ghana for getting out of the group. :D Oct 8, 2016 12:55:09 GMT -5
Celtic04: Wynalda is controversial just for the sake of it, a total bawbag, just rattles on about nothing with an air of self importance- his Sirius show is called WTF ( Wynalda talks football) should be WTS - Talks shizate Oct 20, 2016 17:09:11 GMT -5
Soccerhouse: true but Wynalda is one of the few guys in media that isn't scared to speak his mind, he doesn't kiss US Soccer or MLSs butt and is typically honest -- which is refreshing. He says what most are scared to say. Oct 24, 2016 10:45:16 GMT -5
Soccerhouse: anyone else getting a pop up that says "www.gasoccerforum.com says:" Oct 26, 2016 15:23:29 GMT -5
rifle: No pop up. Oct 28, 2016 15:30:10 GMT -5
rifle: Wynalda is a legend. He gives honest assessments. The show would be boring if he praised all the bad players.. Or took "contrarian" positions for the sake of debate (like Lalas). Oct 28, 2016 15:33:53 GMT -5
Soccerhouse: Photobucket houses all our images etc, they are down for maintenance -- hence the award images being down etc. Nov 4, 2016 10:20:49 GMT -5
soccerwatcher: Can someone explain how RPL works and how many teams can get a U14 RPL spot? Nov 7, 2016 12:12:57 GMT -5
Soccer Parent: Anyone know the difference between ENPL and RPL?Seems like the same big clubs are traditionally playing RPL through USYouthSoccer. However, USClubSoccer just announced the ENPL.Anyone have any other information on where the big clubs will be in Fall 2017? Dec 14, 2016 15:39:23 GMT -5
Soccerhouse: ENPL has nothing to with RPL. Its US clubs soccer boys ECNL equivalent and their jab at US soccer for creating girls DA and "ignoring" ECNL -- search the threads, there is a thread with the teams listed so far. Basically all current southern ECNL clubs Dec 15, 2016 9:20:56 GMT -5
