Ouch seems a little steep for five 1 hour sessions - $275, comes to 55 a session. At that price, I hope an Atlanta United player is running the session..... For that much money, I would assume they would throw in a practice uniform and maybe some extras, like a ball or something with the AU logo. Well, compared to UFA and Concorde prices they have the facilities, coaches and the Club to charge that amount and will probably fill up before spring is done. Does anyone know if other MLS academies do the same? Holding outside clinics for youth players? If so, are they charging about the same? I agree, that is a lot of $$ for a one hour training. Let us not forget the traffic on a Friday. I will say this, if your kid got overlooked for the Junior Development Training, or if you want your kid to be seen before they put together their invite only ID camps, this may be a way in. As you all are aware, moving forward there are no more Open Tryouts with AU. It's all invite only starting this May. In regards to coaching, from what I've heard the current U12 DA Coach Ryan is a candidate to train the younger aged boys. I hear he is very good with teaching fundamentals and basics. Not sure about the older boys.

Any recommendations for a good shooting and finishing trainer? I would start with your club and see if they offer something that is given to the club for free. For example, UFA-Norcross has a free finishing clinic for club members. I've also heard GSA does something like that, but i'm not as sure. From there if you still need someone to individually train your kid, ask the club coaches who they would recommend. Usually the best bubbles to the top.

Looks like Atlanta United has now taken down the page to the skills clinic.

Looks like Atlanta United has now taken down the page to the skills clinic. I wonder if they had the dates wrong, and it really was intended to be more than 5 sessions, ie something like 10 sessions etc.
