What are the chances CF responds with their own rumor "Yeah, but everyone knows TopHat is going All-In 2019-20". TopHat has a seat on the ECNL Board of Directors, as do Eclipse and PDA, it is why I'm surprised CF went All-In first, I really thought NTH would have flipped this year. Regardless, this is not nearly as neat and well-coordinated as these announcements have been in other parts of the country. Has there always been bad blood between these clubs? Yeah sort of. Both clubs are strong "recruiter clubs" at the top levels. So yeah, I imagine the Nasa old guard and the NTH peeps have Z E R O love loss about the Concorde.

That could explain a bit of the shade throwing. NTH Bio hasn't been updated to reflect that (http://www.nth-tophat.com/Default.aspx?tabid=330182) . I have found it hard to find the full list of ECNL board members anywhere, but I trust you probably have better info locally.

I heard that NTH didn't have a seat anymore but GSA now has it? The older age groups will be having one.

So let me get this straight:
CF and NTH are business partners on SCCL
But NTH has looted CF entire North program and NTH now outing CF for losing GDA for the express purpose of taking more CF players.

Ha! SCCL is off to a great trusting relationship..... Crazy. Formed partnership with their biggest rivals and destroyed their relationships with little clubs that sent teams to their tournaments. Classic case of a poor strategy. None of them remembered why Georgia United failed.

Wow, not quite a shady move but definitely put it out there for CF to respond... Shady is CF waiting til the last moment. My guess is the older girls will stay put...NTH is probably more interested in the younger kids, anyway.

I don't blame NTH for advertising their now unique situation.

What’s the over/under on how long until Concorde comes out with something official?? Not quite as quickly as they cancel their tournaments? (oh no she didn't go there - yes I did! LOL)

Quick clarification - concorde has informed all thier current DA and ECNL teams about this correct? I heard teams had meetings but wanted to verify - they are the important ones to have received this info.

The one caveat is this, there is that 0.0000001% chance we're all wrong and CF is in fact keeping GDA and getting rid of ECNL or vice-versa. I say that only because CF is yet to make anything "Official..." I heard decision not made by CF yet and will be official soon. I guess NTH didn't say which one CF was giving up yet, so it could be either one.

The DA team still has games / showcases to attend. Also the ECNL event has invited CF teams to Seattle. Nothing said to either sets of teams about the future of CF. All the info the kids and parents are getting is from coach hearsay and this message board. K L A S S Y Koncorde Fire real klassy.

If this is really the case that CF are stringing their families along because they cannot make a decision, that is unconscionable. If that is really the case, then I don't blame NTH for their announcement. It sucks for families who won't tell the club to pound sand because they probably feel trapped. There are only so many spots on top teams. Supposedly the drop-dead date for re-upping with GDA is tomorrow. Maybe they are pushing that to the limit. Still ridiculous if this is true.

Gsa does have it and CC is the one driving the Storyline why Concorde is being forced to give up DA, because They didn't do too well in the ECNL rankings. He's pushing it because he is the SE president and was afraid he was going to lose girls to Concorde

It's true. That is what's happening to our fam and friends. I guess they are scrambling, maybe procrastinated a little, who knows, maybe they are making a last ditch plea to ECNL. I have heard all versions. I would believe any and all of this. I think all of the clubs with both programs knew the expectation from ECNL. GDA probably didn't care because they probably assumed top teams at each club would go into their league, although that was not the case at a few clubs in other areas of the country. So one does wonder whether GDA are talking to those few clubs. It is understandable from ECNL perspective because they are not interested in relegating themselves given the way this thing was handled by USSF (I feel comfortable putting it this way rather than a failed negotiation because it is pretty clear there was no negotiation). At this point, ECNL is feeling so confident I don't understand why they don't give every dual club the same ultimatum. It is Friday, and the afternoon news dump may finally spill the beans!
