Lots of ECNL patches on the NTH 01 Navy team yesterday. To clarify, by lots you mean 1. Two on roster, only one was there Saturday. Good try at throwing shade. I just asked them, and according to the parents that were there (not me) there was 2 players with ECNL patches playing. The reality is, there should be ZERO.

You don't seem to have a problem with players that don't belong there being there. It offends you more having been called out. They must have not taken playing time from your kid, or maybe the ECNL player is your kid and you don't have a problem with her taking playing time from someone else who earned it.

I guess you nailed since he deleted his posts. And btw I'm not picking on NTH or anyone, my kids are not even playing in State Cup. But just so you don't feel alone. I was told that the 04 CF Central team had 3 ECNL players on the field. Feel free to correct me since I wasn't actually there.

Just realized that there would be no rational discussion on this issue, only blame storming, so no point in posting, even though my facts are 100% correct.

Correct. U14 CF Central Black girls had 3 ECNL players on field today vs UFA Premier. Scored the 2 goals that won the game.

No ECNL player should be playing in the State Cup...period. It's not their team, nor do they deserve to take time from players that have played all year for the chance to play in the State Cup.
Before anybody attacks me, I am the parent of an ECNL player.

It's hard on both sides, it wasn't for development, it was in hopes of advantage. My kid just wanted to play soccer, more games, bring it. It was awkward to say the least.

CFA Dalton dominated U15 boys. The U15 Boys Final Four is rounded out by the 2nd seed, Alpharetta Ambush, and the two AFC Lightning teams, who were 5th and 6th seeds. AFC Lightning II, though, barely won a close game against 11th seed DDYSC. The 3rd seed, UFA Forsyth, lost to both DDY and AFC Lightning II.

NTH White 04 White advances to the final four Wash just keeps on winning! Good for him and those girls. Thank you for that, the girls have worked hard. They started in Athena C at U13 and just wrapped up an undefeated season in Athena A. To the best of my recollection I don't think a club's fourth tier team has ever made the final four. You can say SC is watered down and there is validity to that but it's still a great accomplishment. They played with 13/14 players this weekend, without two starters (no guest players) and played against a RPL and SRPL team and won. Regardless of what happens next weekend, the girls should be extremely proud of their progress the last two years and their efforts this weekend.

Big big fan of state cup and playing under pressure. It’s hard to get out of a group of 4 and win the group. Playing during rain, heat and on turf. You have to adapt and particularly for teams that are aren’t used to the u15 and above sub rules.
Great event and great experience for kids to play games where each result matters.
Some say that’s what is wrong with youth soccer, but once a year kids should be tested because the game is different when you need a tie or a result by 3 goals.

Before anybody attacks me, I am the parent of an ECNL player. Unless: you have lost players throughout the season. We started with 16 and 4 left the team during the season. So we added two from other clubs, pulled one up from younger age group, and brought one ‘down’ from ECNL. Seems like a fair way of supplementing a slim roster.

That NTH 04 crew is solid top to bottom. Aren’t the DA and ECNL teams that year doing very well also?
