Looks like AU U15s losing streak continues. I believe that is now 6 loses in a row. This weekend, the AU/CF teams played. The CF U15s won 3-1. Last year it was split, where each team one a game and tied the 3rd game. This year, with the shrinking of DA teams from 7 down to three, and the CF team with a few additions has dropped 3 goals a game on the AU U15s.

I believe it was 2-2 for the U17s, I saw the waning moments of that game. Had to head downtown to watch the first team, so didn't stay for the U19s.

I'd say that's a great showing for Concorde for the older 3 teams - 1-1-1 15s going aggregate 6 goals for 3 against - win both 17s going aggregate 3 goals for 6 against - loss and a tie 19s going aggregate 3 goals for 4 against - split
Doesn't that AU u15 team have 3 kids that were invited in to national team camp at some point?

Publicly, 3 national team camps call-ups for sure, but I believe in reality it was 5. In collaboration with AU, US Soccer had to rescind one of the invites for behavior issues, and I keep thinking the Goalie was also invited whilst playing up last year with the 2003s. Of the other 3 (IMO), one plays up or down to the level of the team he's on(big kid), for the another, the game seems to be passing him by, again due to size(has not hit puberty) and the final one, who I think might have a real chance, is really selfish and will take a shots once he gets into the opponents half. Again, this is my opinion based on what I've been seeing since last year. I'm sure there are those who will vehemently disagree with me. Overall, AU has some talented individuals on the 2004 team. The problem is they play as individuals. They don't really try to string passes together and the midfield is hollowed out with selfish players who are all about me and my stats, however they too transition to strikers who just can't get the job done. Plus, there are those on the team that have been marked as some on the team would call them - The Untouchables. Those are the ones AU has not so secretly put on the "pro-path" Next year when the age goes from single year to double, not sure what or who AU will retain or if they will be culled on to the holding U16 team.

Quick update on the trip originally scheduled for the AU U15s down to Brasilia in December... TA pulled the plug due to the recent spate of poor play by the team. Should make for some interesting reviews.

Weekend updates
AU U15s are on a roll. They won last week against Tampa Bay and avenged their earlier loss to NCFC this weekend with a 2-0 win. On Sunday, the same two teams scrimmaged again, but this time AU backfilled with 6/7 players from the U14s(2005s). Final 3-2(NCFC), heard AU had a missed penalty.
In other news and in regards to the future U15s(current U14s), the QCM/ISL team beat LSA 10 zip. Bad showing by LSA, but more importantly, QCM scored 15 goals in two games against UFA and LSA. In the 10 zip drubbing, one player scored 6 goals. He scored in bunches to go 3, 2, 1. The first 3 in a seven minute span, the next 2 in an eight minute span and topped off in the 64th minute with his 6th goal of the day. How does a coach not double, triple cover him? How do the players not do what they can(legally, no foul) to stop him? Clearly the culling of 7 teams down to 3 cannot come quick enough.
