Well as of right now, there is only one other club in the city that can say they have access to both: Did you forget about Concorde?

I like it as a much needed alternative to CF. With the mandate age scramble the new club could field strong teams! Cant wait 'til tryouts

NASA will have turf fields at North Metro and be in control of a turf field at Terrill Mill park as well. That doesn't solve travel problems but that's more of an ATL problem than a soccer club problem. I haven't been to Metro North in a while. Do they have turf fields now (other than that little square), or are they putting some in/did they put some in over the winter? I saw that UFA put more turf in at Fowler over the winter so that means not having to miss as much practice/games in bad weather at least.

This particular issue has been discussed at some length both here in other threads and elsewhere. There also has been a considerable amount of additional reporting since that story. How this will work is yet to be determined. I guess the meeting last Friday was a US soccer show so they could say, "We met with ECNL and...thinks but no thinks on a partnership." It is an interesting issue that is literally effecting all the "grass roots" clubs with strong girls programs in the US. I welcome both competing for superiority in the market place. I hope it forces someone to try and get away from a pay to play model for development. That's the pie in the sky crazy dream I have for DA's in the US.
