I think the announcement was about the SCCL expansion from what I was told. I don't think there is really any news especially being it is a week from tryouts. Maybe a future new venue?

It will be announced in due time when all the details are worked out. It doesn't affect tryouts in any way |

Does it have to do with their new “country club” soccer park they’re building? Burruss Park. It will have 20 multi purpose fields, indoor soccer facility, indoor basketball facility, conference hall, a gym with membership, a clubhouse with membership, and a hotel with retail shops.
About a year ago they released on their Instagram account all of this information. But I think it was an accident because they deleted it shortly after. I think it was only supposed to go out to certain people as it was specifically advertising a fundraising outing at Top Golf. The advert said that there are opportunities for big donors to get their name on fields and buildings etc.
Could this be the announcement???

It sounds like the Polo Fields are going away so I’m guessing it is field space related. This was already announced over a year ago, personally glad it is going away. The smell of horse "fertilizer" and the sludgefest when it rained was enough for me. |

UFA players do get free donuts 😂😂 They just go with their uniform and they get one, not at all locations. |

The money is sweeter than the doughnuts. If Burruss is scrapped, I’m guessing another mega country club type complex will be fast on it’s heels. Based on other thread, they’re already the most expensive club, and still raising fees. I don’t think it’s a coincidence. |
