I am a fan of both new kits for AFU and UFA. No 3rd kit for UFA?

NTH were meant to start a new uniform cycle this year but I have been told that with everything going on that they are postponing that for a year to say people extra cost.

A lot will need to order new uni's anyway... might as well make it a new style.

Did Concorde have a 3rd kit the past 2 years? I only saw them in black and white. AFU almost NEVER wore their black kits the prior 2 years. Yeah, worst case for some of the clubs (like Concorde) is likely that the pattern on the jersey will be different, likely the same patches.

Also, given that manufacturing is shut down across much of the world, and the kits are mostly made in 3rd world countries, will they even have the supplies to deliver new kits to much of the country???

UFA just had red and grey right? SSA just had blue and white kits?
I think GSA and NTH are the only club that has game-warmup jerseys (with player numbers), I think GSA's set is the most $$$.

I think GSA and NTH are the only club that has game-warmup jerseys (with player numbers), I think GSA's set is the most $$$. Not all teams at GSA have game warm-up jerseys with numbers. It is possible all ECNL teams do, but SCCL and lower do not, unless it was an individual team decision. Also, the full GSA kit is actually rather cheap. Maybe it is because it is Puma, or maybe it is because the jerseys are essentially moisture wicking t-shirts with everything ironed on. The 3 uniforms, bag, training shirts, warm-up jacket & pants all combined were less than what we paid the previous year at another club for just 2 uniforms, warm-up jacket & pants.

Ah, I had heard different I thought from an SCCL parent, but TBH they were mostly annoyed by the maroon/orange kit. You're probably right about only the ECNL team having the warm up jersey.
For AFU at the start of the previous uniform cycle, only the top 2 teams get the 3rd kit and it was "free" (well, included in tuition at least) as was the warm-up pullover for the top 2 teams. This past year the raincoat/windbreaker was included/"free" also...but it took a couple months to get it. One training shirt is included in tuition also.

UFA practice/warm-up shirts(charcoal grey) had numbers on the front(no number/Lloyds on back) and their warmup jackets had numbers on front also last season through the SCCL-P team. Dunno if the new kit includes them or the pictures posted are 100% final but I do like the design.

AFU uses the Nike Challenge kits, this is the Challenge III. Concorde (and I believe SSA) likewise used the Challenge II kits their last uniform cycle. There are hard-to-see diagonal stripes on the jersey, no idea about the shorts. I am hopeful Concorde chooses a different kit this time. The first round for Concorde's new uniforms seems to have mirrored the current AFU kits, (solid Black, Solid White, Red Jersey). Don't know if this is the final, but looks very close to theirs.

I am a fan of both new kits for AFU and UFA. No 3rd kit for UFA? UFA has never had a 3rd kit. What is the purpose of a 3rd kit? The only club that I always knew to have a 3rd kit was Tophat's top team.

We had a 3rd kit at AFU (black with Elite written across the front ), but seldom wore them . They were free but I never understood why we didn’t wear them more.

GSA ECNL has had a 3rd kit for a while. Really only useful at showcases or when someone on the team forgets something..

From posts NTH, AFU and GSA all have 3rd kits and not sure what other teams and clubs do. The purpose I assume is for tournaments, showcases and when clubs play against each other knowingly each have similar color scheme.

IMO, the third kit is an unneeded expense. We were on one team that rarely ever used it. Would rather have 3x’s practice kits.

We could hardly use the 3rd kits because the clubs’ 2nd teams didn’t have them. We always were short players and usually had play-ups that didn’t have them so we rarely used them.

All the Nike clubs follow a two-year cycle - AFU and Con Fire are on the same 2-year Cycle with Nike - other clubs are on the same two-year cycle but not on the same year. The clubs only have so many kits to choose from. Most clubs pick the colors that fit closely with their club colors.
If any of the clubs would want to have truly custom kits then the cost for the parents would be likely double, if not more.
And yes it will be interesting to see if the new kits will be ready in time for the season if there is one.

If I remembered from years past, ECNL did not allow you to wear anything with the word "Elite" on it. That may have changed, maybe someone currently, in the ECNL can shed more light on this "rule"

What if you're sponsored by a company called "Elite"? I guess you turn that sponsor down. The elite kits (not that I liked them) were for 2nd team post-U12 and top team at U12. Honestly I don't know why the Elite isn't the first team given that they're in the Elite Clubs National League. 2nd team Premier, and so on.
