I almost started to write something political... and then realized, you don't give shizat what I think, just as I don't give a shizat what you think... you aren't going to change my mind from a comment made on a soccer forum. It's like those celebrities that come out to virtue signal or make some grand statement.... almost nobody gives a crap. Just shut up and stick to making TV and films.

Even soccer forums can be great places to learn something new. If you are passionate enough about it say it... or don't this is only a soccer forum 😁... But the message might be powerful enough to change someone's mind. You never know which people are willing and ready to listen. I certainly hope some people watched that earlier video I posted. The message is simple and it has a lot of good information that is applicable to understand current day situations and their underlying root causes. Hoping it wasn't too much off topic with the conversations of this topic but I thought it had some application to this one and one of the other recent hot/ touchy threads. But anyways back on topic. I wish GA Soccer and the new person coming in all the best. It would be nice to have a strong association and it operating across the local clubs in some positive capacity.

I find it interesting that so many people are 'shut up and dribble' or 'shut up and make records'.. unless that person agrees with them.. then it's 'look at him.. he's so smart and brave!'

Two things, 1) If this person is indeed the new ED, maybe they should refrain from opinions that alienate half of the people you represent (whatever the "party" or opinion). 2) Could we all just STFU about political leanings or medical advice from non-experts and get back to pro/rel, which league is best, Big 5 vs the world, and other such banalities?

In her defense that post was when she was at Orlando City as FG said. She had not yet updated her profile. People should be entitled to say certain things on their social media account as long as they are not hateful speech, breaking a non-disclosure, invading privacy. I have told my child when she gets her social media account, to be careful what she says. There have been kids that lost their acceptance to college and people fired from jobs for things they say. Generally though those have been hate speech. I do think we have gone a little too far on political discussions on the forum though. We have enough division in opinions on things like what league is the best, pro/rel for MLS and youth, whether NTH is or is not a good club, high school is good or bad, etc. Adding the political discussions had made this community feel less welcoming. IMO.

IMO. Agreed. She can say whatever she chooses. All I'm saying is you may want to refrain when you're in a role like that. You're hired to represent all participants and whatever opinion you put out there, in a political regard, is bound to alienate the other half. So back to the banalities that should be the Ga Soccer Forum... 1) The league my player is in is indeed the top league. Your league obviously sucks. 2) Can you believe that coach? Gah... the worst. Meanwhile, the other one is the best. 3) I think we can all rally around the point that NTH sucks. Unless I'm in NTH then, of course, EVERYONE ELSE SUCKS. EOM.

My only complaint is you left out the "Age Mandate" discussion. You can't have real discord on the forum without taking a side on the age mandate. IMO it was best worst decision ever 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
