Has anyone seen the new UFA Metro uniforms yet? They’re not adidas. They’re not UFA Black, Red, White or Grey. And they’re not from Lloyd’s. And they’re not sponsored by Emory or Dunkin. They’re New Balance and the home kit is Oglethorpe Gold and the away kit is All Black. They were shipping out 40 teams yesterday and were prioritizing those in the Nike Cup. I have 2 guest players playing with us and they are going to try to send theirs out also. I got my shipping notification late yesterday. Expect yours soon if you are playing this weekend. It is a big mess this year. This is my 5th year dealing with them and I have never had trouble until this year. As for using old uniforms that is impossible for my kid. Her uniform from last cycle is so small the shirt looks like a crop top. She grew 2 inches and gained weight since March and has been having to wear her older siblings shirt from the 2 cycles ago to train in. Those game uniforms were black and red though so that would not work for the tournament. Our coach told us that the grey jerseys would not be ready and they are sending a temporary white jersey to use for this weekend. The black jersey is ready. |

A couple family friends play there and were notified that the current uniform deal has to run its course before switching jerseys over to regular UFA colors. Was told this by 2 different families with kids in different age groups so seems to be the current situation. Team names, uniform branding, website, social media, et all have been switched over to UFA branding from what I can tell. One family has been making a heavy push for us to make the switch over there at least for our Academy aged player so we will be keeping an eye on what happens with them... Yeah I don’t know about that. If that was true then they would have at least followed the same colors as UFA like Impact who’s with Puma has done with Inter Atlanta whos with adidas in their Ga Alliance. I’ve got friends over there too and none of them seemed to think this was a long term thing but more like a two year trial like TYSA with GSA and Lanier with Tophat. And this is a brand new two year cycle they are starting with New Balance as they just switched from Hummel so it’s not even a one year deal. |

Our registrar always has extras for them especially with all the sample kits. I guess it depends on the size of the club. We’ve been small so you only needed a couple. |

Interesting since a ton of UFA team managers received an email saying to expect we would all be getting "free" gold jerseys to use this weekend at the upcoming tournaments until game day jerseys can be shipped from Adidas/Lloyds. So maybe it's actually UFA Metro that is setting the trend that the rest of the UFA branches will follow. LOL

So maybe it's actually UFA Metro that is setting the trend that the rest of the UFA branches will follow. LOL Yep, just got that email. From what I can tell, they ordered the gold jerseys from New Balance for those teams playing in the Concorde tourney this weekend, once they realized Adidas/Lloyd's couldn't get them on time. |

I got the email about the gold jerseys. We were originally told the black would be ready and they would give white as an alternate. Now they are saying no black jersey either. Oh well.
As for not having extra uniforms for guest players, we really don't have guest players from other clubs. So they are really not guest so much as club passing. So they usually already have uniforms. The issue is that this year the uniforms are delayed and prioritizing based on when the tourneys are supposed to happen. At least that is what the Lloyd's representative told me.

We had the same issue with WeGotSoccer. Our kits were ordered 6/30--7/1 and over half our team is still hasn't received theirs. So, for the Nike tourney our team is wearing their training tops with a small number ironed on the back.
All of ours were supposed to be here by August 1.
