Let’s see if TSC takes 2nd in the U14 boys age group. Very possible for TSC. UFA seems to be on a losing streak and NASA is running out of games. Concorde and Chattanooga are surging, but may be too late. Chattanooga is close enough to have a chance. It's too late for Concorde... even after a good weekend.

Eyes on TSC/Chatanooga to go 2 & 3 behind GSA. Not a fan, but it appears that added players is certainly changing their results (rumors about Chatanooga). TSC seems solid. GSA to far ahead at this point and they have a solid team since day 1 of the season.

GSA have stayed consistent throughout the season and deserve their spot. My money would be on NASA and TSC joining them.

Dont forget that recruiting is also done by current players returning to a team. Coaches may have a date they may contact a player, players do not. As its been said again and again, bu u13/u14 or u15, its widely known who the best players at each are. They've been playing since u6.

Looks like Tennessee 07 lost both games this weekend. Alabama 07 is surging up the table.

That’s a good indicator. I’m pretty sure 07B CF Platinum has but CF Premier has not. Think about it, you add 2 stud field players from the next age group up to replace the majority of minutes of your two weakest field players and suddenly the games you were losing 1-2 become 2-1 wins. CF Platinum has already beaten GSA (In a tournament game) and NASA (In a regular season league game). There aren’t enough games left to change their own fate but they could significantly impact the top of the table, considering only the top two teams go to the playoffs in that age group. Top 3 in that age group go to playoffs. And Chattanooga could make a run. NASA may be in trouble since they have less games remaining to create separation. As for trap year - I personally have mixed feelings about it. If I have an 8th grade 06 that can’t play high school, I get the reasoning. But it was decided to move to birth year rather than school year... so there shouldn’t be a carve out to allow players to play down an age group. Chattanooga lost to NASA and Alabama recently so they seem to be out of the playoff race. NASA has no games left so they are in wait and see mode, but they won games down the stretch. GSA, UFA, Alabama, Tennessee and Atl Utd still have games to play.

The Concorde teams play both Alabama and Tennessee this weekend with playoff implications. It seems Tennessee won both games this weekend 2-0. Once NASA’s Atlanta United wins are washed they may well be out of the playoffs.

If Tennessee won both games this weekend then I think they advanced to the playoffs over NASA, since NASA will lose their points against AU.

Disappointing season for both 08 and 07 NASA teams. I think both would have been expecting Playoffs at the start of the season. It’ll be interesting to see if any of these players seek a move to Concorde, GSA, or UFA. Doubt it. They’re still pretty darn good (the NASA 07s). Tennessee SC just had more to play for than CF this weekend and it showed by the trap players they rostered while CF just had 2 subs, they haven’t used 06s in a while and none traveled with them this weekend, and some guys have already left the team and didn’t even show up. Great character screwing over your teammates.

Wonder if those kids will be looking to join GSA, NASA or UFA. Congratulations to Tennessee.

Having seen both of those CF teams, IMO there's talent across both. They have a deep 07 pool. New coaches and reconfigured teams will make both very different next year. Also, while most teams in front of them have had a ton or roster continuity, the CF teams have not. That would have to play into a lack of results. (And due to internal problems, the club has lost a lot of good players that wound up on teams in front of them.)

I don’t think so, you need to consider the 6 points NASA will lose from the cancellation of the ATL UTD games. Tough break for NASA, but Tennessee won the games they needed to win.

NASA did not use trap players. It may have cost them some points since their competition used trap players which made a difference in the spring, but also credit to NASA 07 for using the same kids all season long.

Concorde, Alabama, and Chattanooga are the only ones that used trap players to my knowledge.
