That was intense. Can't wait to see the 2nd leg. I appreciate how hard Athletico Madrid play, but I do not enjoy watching what they do to matches. They remind me of watching Chuck Daly's Pistons or Pat Riley's Knicks. The only way that style will lose favor is if teams interested in playing flowing offensive football defeat them more often. Would have helped if Bale had finished that early chance.

Wasn't a fan when I saw these 2 teams matched up in this game, I guess that's the way the ping pong ball bounces.

I enjoy watching that gritty defensive style too. Similar to what Porto did to BM and what Chelsea does in the EPL
