But Seattle is a top 10 city for number of rainy days a year. And Seattle still gets more soccer games in...on turf. Aww I miss my PNW days and decent coffee. Oh by the way, GO HAWKS! And not those Atlanta ones...

But Seattle is a top 10 city for number of rainy days a year. Come on man. Mist does not really count as rain, does it?

unfortunately, in the ATL, a little mist would close the fields as well......not to mention what it would do to traffic.....
i can't get enough of the weather GIF above, its like waiting for godzilla to gobble up our city.

I'd be fine with all the rain if it would actually wash away all the pollen rather than creating large puddles of the vile stuff to attack my sinuses.
Dumb non soccer question - would there still be a Dirty Girl Mud Run in the rain? We're signed up for that on Saturday - seems like a win win - more mud - and built in shower at the end of the course LOL

Didn't realize the maps were updating also, but they are!
Don't understand where this weather is coming from, current radar looks good west of us.

Jim Cantore thinks most of the rain is going to miss where our kids play Saturday. Turf lined up for Sunday just in case. Jacked and pumped!!

Real issue is the storms are heading through our area at the time the academy kids play. Later in the afternoon the models show clear. But how much rain will this line of strong storms dump in their brief presence?

Yep...rain early means automatic cancelling of the little ones games but I suspect this rain will really do a number on the fields. My oldest will play today as they are at the Fowler turf barring any severe weather. She was fortunate to be at Gary Pirkle last week so she has benefited from some lucky scheduling. Going to the Silverbacks vs. Cosmos game later so hope the rain is out by then. Oh well, time to settle in and watch some Premier League. Love that time difference!

Henry County soccer is delaying games by one hour only. SSA (all fields) and UFA Norcross closed all day so far. Haven't heard about the rest yet.

Southampton are dominating but they seem to let their guard down after they score to let the Spurs back in it.
