First a "highlight" of Jordan Morris dribbling nowhere.. Now this hatchet job on the hatchet man.
Check out @mls's Tweet:
Edit .... And it's gone!

Yes it is. This is really a poor job by MLS, especially since all contracts are with MLS not the "clubs".

Can't see it. If it's a joke, could they maybe play a game next year before we "hear the punchline?"

Can't see it. If it's a joke, could they maybe play a game next year before we "hear the punchline?" MLS posted basically a shame video chronicling DeJong's short time with LA Galaxy. Noting he collected some cards, made few shots and claimed no goals. As a hard man CDM. I know the guy is a butcher and he stared directly at Darlington Nagbe's shin as he attempted to break it.. But the person publishing these videos on behalf of the league is an embarrassment. And thus the league is an embarrassment.

Really a result of a lack of tactical awareness by Nagbe.

Foul on Nagbe was a fair play. Really a result of a lack of tactical awareness by Nagbe. I guess De Jong was inspecting the grass under Nagbe's foot, there was a pernicious Palmetto bug lurking there, and De Jong was actually trying to squash it. That is why he is STARING RIGHT AT NAGBE'S ANKLE, not the ball. He was really going for the bug. He was trying to do everyone a favor. Yes, perfectly fair. I see it now. De Jong's fair tackle on Nagbe

Propaganda, all is phony. Watch the whole clip. In this picture, the ball is already gone after he has won it. In real time, his foot is past his ankle.

NDJ reputation is earned. Turkey will be a good league for him.
The fact that MLS signed him and then posted a hatchet piece criticizing him on the way out... is my entire point.

I encourage you to view it in slomo and watch what NDJ is doing. There is no denying the palmetto bug theory. No conspiracy.

Nagbe is the one that caused this result.

Nagbe is the one that caused this result. Absolutely. Recall: Portland had embarrassed LAG on the way to the championship last season. It's common for less skilled players resort to dangerous tackles on the opponent's best players. So I agree. It is totally Nagbe's fault for becoming a target. also ref: Cristiano, the Man U years.

Watch the video to see if you can figure it out.

Nagbe cut to his left after NDJ planted and came in studs first? Have I got it right?

Nagbe cut to his left after NDJ planted and came in studs first? Have I got it right? His first mistake is bringing it inside, then compounds that with a loose touch that gets away from him and into the path of de Jong. If he keeps it close, he dances around NDJ and slips it through to the wide guy who is in all alone for a goal.
