GA United 14s crushed Concorde, something like 6-1.
Concorde's 13s won 2-0, absolutely dominated the majority of the game outside the first 15 minutes. They used every player on the roster. GA United did not make a single sub the entire game. I've never seen anything like it, I stayed and watched the 13s and to put it nicely there were some extremely unhappy parents on the sidelines. Not a single sub sends the wrong message and makes you question why why and why? GA united need a spark of the bench, and it never came. Kids were gassed by halftime. Embarrassing.

I'm surprised the score was that close with the GA kids so tired especially given the scores with other teams this season

I think the coach did not want a game like the first one. The game was 1-0 until about 15 minutes left. Concorde is a better team, but ga united is getting better. Regarding a spark off the bench, I think the best players were on the field.

Its about development not results. Never in my life have a I heard of a coach not making a sub, why even have a coach then? We are talking about a random DA game on Saturday right? not a state championship, regionals, national team or DA playoff game.

Honestly have no clue why the coach didn't sub. He always subs, not sure why in this game unless he was afraid of the game getting out of hand. Ask the coach.

Maybe those players on the bench didn't make team requirements. I've benched players and played down because players skip practice, show up late, goof off during practice, and other reasons. It sucks but its best to do that in a random Saturday game instead of a potential important one. Especially if it's the parents who are dragging ass about getting their players to the places they committed to being at.
All in all, there's a 1000 reasons why so try and see both sides.

That is a negative ghost rider. I can tell you with 100% certainty every single player was at training every day on time etc (except for one, that played). No parents were "dragging ass" getting there kids there. Its a committed team with kids that work hard every day at training.

I guess that's what people get for giving clubs and coaches to much power with no real oversight. I know Ga Soccer players have to play a minimum of half a game, I guess DA feels these kids don't deserve the same rights.

So are you saying that 9 players deserved to sit out an entire game? GA has 20 on the roster and only 18 can play on a game day so that means 9 kids didn't play. 9. The DA has nothing to do with what the coach did. I've personally never seen this happen before in a game, any game.

I think he speculated, nothing more. If your team has nobody that gets a pass on team team requirements, then you're lucky.
