Crystal Dunn has signed with Chelsea ladies of the English Womens Super League, joining Alex Morgan in European soccer. Who will be next and can NWSL survive if the top players keep defecting? www.bbc.com/sport/football/38501063

I think this is great for women's soccer. More competition for the players will drive up the salary for the ladies. I applaud Crystal and others for having the courage to make the jump, even if its temporary.

Go where the best competition exists, not where it's comfortable.

Just another example of where soccer thrives outside of the US. We are still decades away from having competitive male and female leagues. Hopefully the USMNT players realize that their best chance of getting better is playing elsewhere. None of the starters for both Men and Women NT should be playing stateside if they care about winning international trophies.
