Can't be right. Berkmar girls are 4-8 with huge losses, no region wins. The boys maybe right.

According to Eurosport Scoreboad, they have two region wins. The OP said this was not a prediction for the future.

How do they break a three way tie where each team has a win and loss to each of the other two teams (i.e. A beat B, B beat C, and C beat A)?

Can't be right. Berkmar girls are 4-8 with huge losses, no region wins. The boys maybe right. Berkmar beat Central Gwinnett and Meadowcreek in their region. Norcross should beat Berkmar when they play giving Norcross the 4th spot.

How do they break a three way tie where each team has a win and loss to each of the other two teams (i.e. A beat B, B beat C, and C beat A)? I believe this is the order of the tiebreakers: 1. Overall record in region 2. Winning team in head to head competition of teams that are tied 3. Goals allowed in head to head competition of teams that are tied 4. Goal differential in head to head competition of teams that are tied 5. Goals allowed in all region games What I don't know is if a region could have different tiebreaker rules than GHSA. With Brookwood girls' win over Parkview tonight, Brookwood has posted that they are the region champs. There is one undefeated team (Brookwood) and 2 teams with 1 loss (Parkview and Lakeside). It seems to me that mathematically any of the 3 could win since Brookwood and Lakeside haven't played yet. With the way Brookwood has been playing I suspect it's unlikely they'll lose but don't they need to know the outcome of that game before determining the region champ? Or is there a region tiebreaker rule that would say they win before knowing the outcome of this final game? 4/15 update - Brookwood took the region championship announcement off their site. Maybe they can put it back next week but in the meantime Parkview is cheering for Lakeside 😊.

GA HS Playoff BracketsBrackets now updated through today. One more week and then we have official brackets! 1. I get all region standings from Eurosport. If they are wrong then a coach isn't putting in the games (AA Region 5 No games entered) or someone is mislabeling region games. 2. This is where teams are now not a prediction. Just a preview, remember, things will change with one more week of games. 3. GHSA - get it in gear: require score reporting in MaxPreps like football, basketball and baseball. Should be required for all sports and it wouldn't take a week to start the state tournament. Enjoy!

Tie breakers are listed on the GA HS Playoff link. Look at the tabs on the bottom and they are listed all the way on the right side. However, keep in mind that some Regions vote to change the order of the tie breakers or come up with their own so it depends on the region.
