Yesterday was the 2nd round of ID camps for the 2006//2007s and the 'first' ID camps for the 2005s.
2006/2007s - approximately 50 boys, split on to two fields. Looked like the better players where clustered on one field.
2005s - approximately 50 boys, split on to two fields. Looked like the better players where clustered on one field.
There is a scheduled ID camp for both groups tomorrow (Sunday), however by 5pm today, all boys will get an email telling them they've been invited to continue on with the process and show up tomorrow or it's the end of the road. Unlike others, you had to be on the list to even get onto the Training grounds. A lot more tighter security. Parents weren't allowed on to the fields and were kept closer to the road. TA was not on hand but other current coaches Rios, Matt, Steve, etc. were on hand including Ryan Maurer.
Once I speak with best friend, i'll be able to report on an update for tomorrow and keep you all posted.

I was very surprised by the selection from Friday to Sunday. Some were obvious choices to bring back while others were not in my mind. Based on the Dallas 7v7 count from a previous post:
AU - 5 UFA - 2 CF - 2 DSC - 1 Santos - 1 RYSA - 1
I don't think they called back 2 or 3 of the previously selected Dallas tournament players and they had 2 new keepers there on Sunday. Appeared that they put the "definite" players on the green team and the fringe players on red team. I believe a couple of previous AU 05 players were missing as well so there were probably on 4 or 5 spots they were looking to fill (if they go with a 20 count roster). Not sure how many out of state players they've already committed to that may not have been able to make the camp, but it will be interesting to see their decisions. Especially since many of the players participated in tournament games all weekend right before Sunday's tryouts.

@allthingsocceer - you are correct. Set to meet one on one with Coaches, some on Wednesday and the others on Thursday. I believe they are trying to finalize and sort out the current 2004 - U12 team before informing non-AU boys about them making the team(2005s-2007s). Some members of the team have already been verbally informed(positive), but those are for some of the obvious boys that are being retained. setpieces - spot on with your analysis. 3 boys didn't get called back for the Sunday session(1 GK, 2 Players). There were only 2 of the current AU 2005s on hand. I know one is out injured, not sure about the remaining 2 as to why they weren't on hand. All in all 23 boys we're on hand and like you said, for the 3rd round of scrimmages they seemed to reorganize the boys where the likely top 11 ones chosen where on one team and all the others where on the other team. Word is they are taking 18 - 20 and decisions will be made by this Friday. I do know a few of the 2005 non AU boys have already been signed that were at the ID camp on Sunday also.
