New to the complexity of clubs and coaches. Just want to find a good/skilled trainer for my son. What's the best way to find a trainer? Or can anyone recommend anyone intown - east. (Inter-DDY area)?
Thanks!

Why do you need a trainer.? Practices haven't started yet, do you anticipate needing training outside of the 3 times a week practice?

We don't do outside training before season, and our club has a mandatory team camp in 3 weeks for 5'days then it is on to practice the week after.

Thanks! My daughter has done TOCA training and it's excellent. Improved 1st touch and increased her speed of play. One on one sessions are intense and your child will work hard. They also train in groups of you want to go that route. I really can't say enough about the commitment their trainers have. They even came out to watch my child play in her games on their own time to see what they needed to work on. I would say their prices are in line with other private training. They used to be in Norcross but have relocated to Doraville near Peachtree Industrial Blvd off Amwhiler Rd. Their website is www.tocanorcross.com

JJ Gregoire does training in North Atlanta, though not sure what he has going on right now. High intensity that pushes kids.
I've taken a different approach this summer. I purchased the Renegade soccer program for my son and told him he's in charge of doing the workouts. If he wants to improve then its on him to do the training and workouts. The program mixes foot skills and fitness. It's a 60 day program that builds on intensity and can be repeated. Currently the workout takes about an hour and he's dripping with sweat when done.
Not ruling out trainers down the road but for now I like that he's responsible for making it happen.

My kid does private training once a week on top of her regular practice (and shes doing it during the summer too). She gets to work on her technical skills and and finishing and some other things, regular practices are not for that purpose. She lets her trainer know what she feels she needs to work and they go from there.
