We knew this was coming, I predict Tab Ramos or Peter Vermes will be offered the job and the status quo will continue

Wagner would be a great choice but he's not leaving the EPL

I think Wagner on paper would be a good choice. However, we want someone who not only has the chops and resume for the job but also actually seeks out the job. They are better suited to also have a plan for what they'd like to do. Take Tata Martino with Atlanta United. From what I hear he put out feelers for the job, in addition to coming to the leadership of Atlanta United with a bonafide plan of what he wanted to do from day 1 in conjunction with his short and long term goals. A friend sent this to me today from another friend i'm unfamiliar with...
[We need someone who will take the entire soccer ecosystem and put a plan in place that ties them all together and moves the entire ecosystem collectively in the right direction... Youth Soccer, Coaching Mandate, Development Academy, Fan Base, Community Involvement, Nat'l Team pipeline and the ever so important Scouts. Wait that sounds like the current play of the Atlanta United franchise...]
I don't personally know this person but that is what we need to do, to level off and resurrect this sinking ship. We need someone who can connect with the next generation of US Soccer players and bring out the best in them for the country.
