Kephern Fuller is big on getting to Europe and the culture of soccer. He's anti establishment, and hes about soccer in the streets, free play. I've posted some interviews with him in the past, and he is a great listen.
For example this is what is missing from soccer. I've been around it, top youth hoops players are freaking gym rats, they live in the gym, pick up games, street ball, and in the gym before school starts taking hundreds of shots. Ever heard of a soccer rat. I do hear Carleton was that. He'd wake up in the middle of night and kick balls against the wall.
Here we are obsessed with private training, and now everyone wants to home school their kids so they can train with private trainers during the day.

But isn't the entire point of Kephern Fuller's twitter rants that the "soccer rats" do exist in great number and US Soccer is failing to notice them?

I think so, he also believes greatly in competition for players. I think he also is trying to create the soccer rat or maybe it is find them better. Very passionate guy thats for sure, hes tweeted things that he wants to come to the ATL to set up shop. Should be interesting, because this is a brutal youth market. (for good an bad) -- for the most part their is lots of competition for players and clearly this community is loaded with talent.
