According to the Girls DA schedule Concorde vs Tophat this Saturday morning. It will be first time the two clubs have played each other this season... Should be a real competitive day for both clubs. The games will be at Metro North...
U14 Tophat (NR) vs Condorde (NR) U15 Tophat (1) vs Concorde (3) U16/17 Tophat (1) vs Concorde (6) U18/19 Tophat (2) vs Concorde (3)
Does anyone know why there are no rankings for the DA U14s?

Historically speaking DA used to only do rankings for the 2 older age groups. This year, with the u15 expansion, they decided to keep standings for the u15s. When the u14 age groups were introduced years ago, they did not do standings, but I do believe their was an app at that time that kept unofficial standings, but the website never did.

It's because there are no playoffs till U15s, they use the rankings to determine positioning for the playoffs

Looks like NTH completely dominated and won all 4 games this weekend against CF
U14s - 2-0 U15s - 4-2 U17s - 3-1 U19s - 3-0

Pretty incredible level of success for NTH. Once there teams get to 11v11, they are almost unbeatable.

And someone mentioned last week that the NASA Tophat merger hurt Tophat, which really isnt the case. The top teams still play out of Buckhead, Ted and Troy are still running the program the same way, only difference now is a larger pool of players within the club to choose from.

Its been a great rivalry. In the last derby in ECNL, I think CF had the edge. Both teams at 01 and 02 have a ton of kids going in/out of USWNT camp. CF DA teams are going to have to fight. They moved most of their older 01s (11th graders) to the 19 year old team and their 17 year old team has mostly 10th graders. Great for development but a bit tougher in the win/loss column. TH clearly has more depth, especially at the 19 age group which allowed their older 01s (11th graders) to play on 17s.

Soccerfan I think you're right. It was me who asked the question how did the merger hurt TH... It appears the hardest part of any merger / alliance is to get the same training and vigor at all the locations new and old. If done properly the fruit of the new training process may not be visible for a couple of years...

I think everyone will agree they both clubs really put their best foot forward for this fixture. I was able to watch a little of the 03s and all the 04s. Hard fought games... Really high quality soccer being played in Atlanta right now.
