I am most likely in the minority here but am I the only one that thinks Aus 5 -0 win over LA was not a true indication of the game. Yes they won, but LA seemed liked the better team in that game until they scored 4 and LA knew it was little to late. They possessed the ball more but final 3rd did not take their chances while AU did. Gressel was good. I rate Nagbe as a good player but he did not look good in that game. He looked like he was playing CB. Anyway I kniw all the AU fans don't want to hear this but it is true.

quick request footballer The thread is 100% appropriate -- could you modify the title to the subject of the post. Thanks!! LA possessed the ball to death, but I don't think had a single shot on goal in the first half. I'd call it possession with NO purpose! and Nagbe at times looks brilliant, works hard and shows why he can be regular on a national team -- but then at times, he doesn't move, passes it and stand there. someone on twitter created a great thread of him during the US's last loss in World cup qualifying --- was eye opening for sure.

By the way, as we continue to strive for the highest standards in GA soccer, I have to say that although the MB stadium is magnificent, the turf, pitch, field or the coloring whatever you want to call it does not match the facility and is very ugly looking compared to European standards. Someone tell AB we can do better. Thanks

I think there was purpose, only that AU was defending most of the time. As I said in the previous post Nagbe seemed to be playing CB. Even Martinez was playing as a midfielder, dropping to retrieve the ball. Gressel was good

LAFC has a lot of potential in that their coach is well versed in FUTBOL (just as much as Tata) and his experience shows but the lack of experience, (ave age I'm seeing is around 25) some 30's and most 20's) the players have is showing. Unfortunately, towards the end of the game as well as finishing. Kudos to the AU defence without Garza and Pirez. Fortunately, our Captain Parkhurst was outstanding. The first PK that Almiron took probably shouldn't of happened.

I agree. But the game was played for ninety minutes and AU unlocked the door and ripped it from the hinges.
After last week's spirited game in MN, they have amazingly gained confidence. Hopefully they can keep it going.

There's a reason Bob Bradley was fired from the USMNT and Swansea....
