I am considering both of these Academys for my son. He currently plays U10 and will start U11 in the Fall. Any thoughts on both or either of these clubs is much appreciated.

Forget the club, find out who the coach is?

Chiefs FC all the way. Brookhaven FC is an okay growing club but is mainly built on scholarship players that feed into Cross Keys. Jon and his staff have done an okay job but only because they’ve gotten temporary use of Oglethorpe. Chiefs is a better long term solution with a great Academy program based off development and having fun no matter the player. Chiefs academy is run out of Dunwoody and Pleasantdale so you have two locations for practices and the boys side is run by Riley Sumpter, the 08 age group is coached by Mikey Fodrie. If you’re not apart of an academy program this season they offer an Free Open House, May 7th - 17th, that potential players can come join practices to see how the sessions are run and how the coaches coach. I mean unless you’re walking distance to BFC go to Chiefs.

Chiefs just brought in a solid new staff member in Matt Holmes. They're well-run, and development-focused and definitely a great option for Academy.
