Honestly, I think many of the DA clubs are waiting on AU to start their tryouts and make final decisions. I believe AU had an ID camp this past Friday. So the process has begun. Once that is done, the non-AU clubs will proceed with theirs. In the case of the U12s and U13s for DA, their tryouts fall on the same days as the regular U12 & U13 Academy tryouts. It's just done usually in the late morning close to noon to allow boys who are on the bubble a chance rest so that they can go later in the day and make sure they show up for regular Academy tryouts in the evening. This year, those dates fall on May 29th, 30th and 31st. Goodluck

So why isn’t this being communicated to the team? Times dates and or any information at all etc. Why haven't the 6 other DA clubs communicated the information out? I'm guessing because it's over a month away. Most clubs open up their online tryout sign-up portals May 1st or there about. If you want to know more info earlier, I would reach out to your club admin, your coach or someone in the leadership realm. But I believe it is standard for Academy aged groups to have their tryouts the Tues/Weds/Thurs after the Memorial Day Monday and for the Select aged groups to do theirs a week later.

Yea. Everyone knows when academy tryouts are. It’s standard.
But like above poster says - we asked and got nothing back from club. We’ve had kids coming to training the past month with new kids added to the team. Actually feel bad for the kids - new kids added and nobody from club or coaching staff bothered to welcome them to the squad or even introduce them etc.
Assuming we will have some additional pre tryout ID sessions, but nobody knows for sure. We have some parents with conflicts in May, and they just want to be prepare appropriately.

Maybe you all should think of switching clubs if your needs are not being met. You're the customer, you're asking for information and they don't respond. Next!
