Uh did you see Parkview over South Gwinnett 11-1 and it was played in less then 30 minutes. That’s Region 7 vs Region 8 in 7A.

Happens the first week, 4th seed vs 1st. Bench players probably got lots of playing time in this first week.. From here on they’ll watch as the top boys/girls battle it out. Exciting time, but will be heartbreaking for many, especially the seniors!

It’s certainly frustrating to see teams you mercy ruled in the regular season now playing in the post season while you are sitting at home.

I agree with "guest" above. Especially in Gwinnett's tough regions. But not surprised at their outcomes.

Yikes, one 6a blowout was a 4 beating a 1.

Some of the 1's from the other regions were some of the mercy ruled teams when they played in other regions.

Our school is in a smaller classification, so our game is later in the week. Certainly, a team should always hope to win, and should play to win, however in our case it is simply exciting to qualify. Without being too negative, it is my hope our team is not mercy ruled. When looking at the opponent, it seems as if that is a very real possibility.
