This age group definitely has a lot of talent especially at UFA, CF North,CF Central and TH. Mixing in the 06 CF north team with the existing TH talent is going to be a huge win for TH. Jeff seems to have built himself a good empire and Im excited to see them come together. Its going to be a good competitive landscape for the 06s next season. I imagine it wasnt a good feeling for some of the TH players to see all this talent show up. Its a tough thing to swallow at that age. Congrats to those who made the team.

It’s been a chaotic week for many 06 girls to say the least. and of course at this age group the landscape flips upside down completely once again in 12 months when GDA will opens up for that age group.
Crazy to think that the SCCL might be the league that comes out on top in this age group.
Second Team at TH to ECNL Second Team at Concorde Central to ECNL Second Team at GSA to ECNL First Team at UFA Norcross Second Team at SSA to Premier League
That is theoretically a LOT of girls in SCCL who could move up to ECNL when all those ECNL girls move up to DA.
Some of these 06 teams had played together for years.
Yes congrats to all.
These are 11 and 12 year old girls 5th and 6th graders who had some tough decisions handed to them.
Hopefully those same young ladies can survive the “infamous” Concorde / TopHat parents/forum rivalry of the past and enjoy their time together as teammates.

I heard 6 Concorde girls from 06 made the Tophat ECNL team and 2 from SSA. Not sure how accurate that is.

It has been that way for at least the last 7 or 8 years. So it should not be shoking to see other girls show up at tryouts... IMO.

We had friends on those teams, and all the players went to a "high level." From both 2006 teams, ten players went to NTH, six 2nd team players to CF and 9 to UFA. MC did a great job with that age group. We are shocked they did not stay together. The funny part is no players went to AFU.

A shame that team broke up, MC, did great things with those girls. Most went to TH, ECNL, and the rest to UFA. Ashame Newly named, CF, u13 ECNL Coach, didn’t open her eyes enough to take any of the North girls on her team. Ashame all that talent left and they broke up.

I think the root cause of so many players leaving was not the Concorde ECNL coach, but that the two locations (North and Central) didnt seem to get along. Clubs with multiple locations must find a way to foster togetherness amongst all the locations. This has to be intentional. If not one location will feel slighted and then division will form....

UFA, NTH, Concorde, GSA hint hint hint
Why do “we” never hear of SSA interclub drama?
Are they doing it “better” or just nicer about keeping their conflicts quiet?
