With this new alliance, was it ever confirmed that SSA was getting ECNL for certain age groups? I’ve heard them getting ECNL for u-13 & u-14. Did I miss this somewhere?

It is my understanding that SSA 05 and 06 girls were told they will be playing ecnl next year utilizing one of Concordes 2 ecnl spots. It would not be a change to SSA’s league status if this is under Concorde’s name. It is an “alliance”.

Originally it was stated U15 and up had two teams but not U13 and U14...that was before the alliance, so did ECNL change their minds when they heard about SSA alliance?

I have not seen anything public from any clubs announcing such. I did also hear that at the Tophat 06 tryouts they were telling the 2nd team girls that they would have 2 encl slots at that youngest age next year too though.

SSA & CF Invite only combine tonight was a nice way to soft tryout SSA gents and ladies for the ECNL squads. No huge surprises just scrimages pushing people around into different combos.

ECNL required CF to have to teams for U13 and U14 as well. Originally it was U15 and above. So what I "heard" that SSA 06 and 05 will get the 2nd slot team.

On the boys side, I don't believe SSA will work with CF to move SSA boys to CF ECNL teams. SSA has NPL, which it's selling as equal to ECNL. My feeling is that SSA doesn't want to lose boys to ECNL, but OK with SSA > U14 boys playing DA at CF.
