You beat me to it. What the other guy posted was just the requested placements. It looks like they SCCL killed the number of teams in Classic to begin with. There are no Classic IV or V teams anymore. It looks like the lowest is Classic III. I looked at my son's division and based on the Sinc ratings (yeah I know they aren't always that accurate) and the fact that teams we consistently blew out are in lower Classic levels, I think we are probably placed in the right place. Wish they would go ahead an release the schedules to Team Managers and Admins so they can look at them and they can post it for the parents. They said by tonight or tomorrow.

I am not familiar how Select works.
In u13 boys Classic 1, there are 2 groups. Red and Blue. I assume that there is no difference in either one, its just how theyre paired up due to the amount of teams correct?
My question is...
Is the spring the groups will remain the same or will they shuffle them around, because some will move up to Piedmont League right? Is that top 2 from Red and Blue?
Also how do they decide seedings for State Cup if you're feeding from two different groups?
Blue and Red wont play each other right?

This makes the girls 14U 7-team A bracket that much more confusing...

So last year there were two u13 CL1 divisions as well, split into two equal groups- roughly. They took the top 2 teams from each division plus a 5th team into spring RPL. A few teams were relegated to spring CL2 , a few were promoted, and the rest were combined into a single spring CL1.

State Cup seedlings were based on fall point totals over both CL1 divisions(red/blue)

Thanks!!!
This year it will be interesting since the Big 5 wont be allowed into Piedmont League.
I did hear that next year there will be two SCCL divisions though

Looks like Georgia Soccer may be in trouble IMHO. The number of teams governed is way down. Glad we are almost done.

I think there will definitely be two SCCL divisions next year. I think my son's team will be one of the ones that gets added to SCCL rather than continuing to play in the Classic system. We are Classic II U13 right now, but looking at the teams I think we have a good shot of winning that division or at least placing 2nd. Instead of us playing Classic I I think SSA will end up sticking us in SCCL as well. I don't know if that will ultimately be a good thing or not and whether being in Classic I versus SCCL will be good or bad either way.

U13G...61 teams, actually about normal. But 13 additional teams playing ECNL (5), NPL (3), and SCCL (5). Will be down to 57 im the spring with RPL. The landscape is muddier yet watered down. Would have been nice if USSA would have subcontracted RPL out to US Club Soccer (2-tiers). DA and ECNL could have been on nearly equal footing (and could have scheduled friendlies for local rivalries) were it not for the hubris of USYS. The goals of ECNL and DA are different IMO, ECNL being a pipeline to college and DA being a proving ground for USSA GNT/WNT. I think thur DA is flawed from the start though, ODP should be accomplishing this goal. Gather the best girls in the state into ONE TEAM and do the showcases. Maybe I'm missing something as an outsider though.
